Played it and the demo was okay. Basically lets you play a portion of the prologue then skips to further into the game. The combat will probably get split opinions . Personally i played a rogue and liked it a lot. Its fast, flashy and rather fun. Camera controls felt a bit weird though since the button to rotate the camera overlaps with the attack button which is right mouse click .(or maybe its just my mouse sensitivity too high). Other than that the background in the first prologue area (the one that was criticized to no end) was rather bland. Then again maybe its just the first area. PS: I advised anyone who wants to dl the demo to do it using steam. The bioware webbie link always times out on me and i can't ever resume it using IDM. PS.2 : Playtime is around an hour. --- EDIT 3 : Anyone know where i can still get the signature edition for the PC? Ugh, wished i POed it ealier This post has been edited by Sey: Feb 23 2011, 12:47 PM

PO-ed from Steam. More expensive but i guess having the game on Steam is a selling point for me. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Could have gotten a cd key for about 70 bucks less but there you go
Anyone else who PO-ed from steam know when the game will be available for preload?

Anyone manage to run the game at DX11 Max Settings without getting major frame drops ?. Tried just now and it looked great however noticed quite a few large frame rate drops . Switched off AA and its silky smooth now. Quite a few people have been reporting that its a driver issue and once they installed the Nvidia Beta driver it ran damn good.

I actually like the new armor system. The armor upgrades for your party members make them really unique and not just generic npc #102038283 . This is a great game but make no mistake there will always be haters.
Prince Vael seems pretty awesome btw lol. Seems to be such an aggro hog though , he keeps pulling aggro onto himself a lot.

Its probably 30mb only since its likely the only thing it adds is Sebastian + his dialogue. Everything else and even his quests seem to re-use assets that are already on the disc.

The reviews always tend to push up the gameplay time quite a bit. Its odd though since they are usually starved on time to actually play the game.
I'm on act 3 now near the beginning at sitting around 20-ish hours. Will probably get slightly more gametime than FrostLance did.

QUOTE(Cheesenium @ Mar 13 2011, 12:34 AM) What the f***? What has Bioware done? I am really wrong this time, by giving confidence that Bioware can deliver a good DA2 in 18 months. In the end, it is a piece of shit. Oh gawd, that elf head is just horrible. Im very worried of Mass Effect 3, as ME3 is seemed to rushed out at the end of the year. What the hell is wrong with you EA? Enough of being the good guys, and now you want to milk everything you have to crap again? Its obviously a bit rushed however its not as bad as the review makes it out to be. Not even close actually.
