They will lose out if they continue with their rushed garbage especially they have met their competitors like Skyrim and Witcher 2

Skyrim is not out yet hehe. We don't know whether it'll be good or the same old garbage Bethesda has been recycling and churning out.

On the other hand, Witcher 2 is a masterpiece. That I couldn't agree more. The Polish takes the lead in CRPG greatness. Now to see whether the French can beat them with DX: Human Revolution. Maybe, Bioware will ace everyone with Mass Effect 3, who knows.

I doubt ME3 gonna be as good as even Dragon Age 1 when it comes to RPG.

When they said they tailor the gameplay for those run and gun people (a.k.a CoD idiots), i have no more confidence that it will have any decent role playing.

It's gonna be a shooter with a good story.

Sounds like Mass Effect 2. But it can't be worse than DA2.

They literally recycled every location in Kirkwall for all the chapters. Damn lazy developers. So if anyone doesn't like the identical caves in Oblivion then DA2 is even worse since you see the same old shit for the whole entire game.

Moreover, the biggest mistake is removing the isometric view. Trying to beat the Ancient Rock Wraith in 3rd person isn't exactly fun. Could have been so much easier micromanaging in isometric perspective.

Yea, ME3 sounds like ME3, where the RPG elements is just choose 3 parts of your gun, pick different branches of a spell or choosing character attributes. Not much improvement seriously. So far.

Removing isometric view just put me off from finishing DA1. DA2 pretty much didnt exist for me.

It will be the same garbage/masterpiece (depends on who you ask laugh.gif ), I have played ES since Arena, so.... I'm a sucker blush.gif

TBH I thought W2 had really bad combat/inventory design and generic game of thrones plot, not that DA2 is great but its combat variety and mechanics are light years ahead. I honestly think fans are viewing W2 with rose-tinted glasses because it was put on the PC pedestal.

IMO, I think W1's combat is worse. What's with all that flashing cursor nonsense. Feels like a console combat system.

In regards to inventory design, W2 doesn't have the best but certainly not the worse. I think Mass Effect 1 had the worse LOL.

Witcher 2 inventory with the mods added filtering which is a nice touch by the community. Witcher 1 combat was really boring... for me.

Dragon Age II DLC unveiling at San Diego Comic Con

QUOTE
San Diego Comic Con, the largest of the three official conferences (the other two being in New York and Chicago), will be the location where the unrevealed Dragon Age II downloadable content will be outed.

Community manager Chris Priestly announced the news on the developer’s official forums:

BioWare is once again returning to the San Diego Comic Con and this year, we are bringing Mass Effect 3 and a never before seen, Dragon Age II DLC with us. Comic Con begins Thursday July 21 and runs through Sunday July 24 and we will have all sorts of awesome BioWare coolness at our base in the Hilton Gaslamp hotel. This will be the first opportunity for fans to play Mass Effect 3 as well as the next Dragon Age II DLC. In addition, we will be hosting the first annual BioWare Costume Contest on Friday, July 22 for the best BioWare inspired costumes. We’ll be giving away awesome convention swag, opportunities to meet members of the BioWare staff, and we’ll have a special designated area for cos-play character photo opportunities and much more.

Make sure you come and visit us at the Hilton Gaslamp (401 K Street) to experience everything live (remember, you do not need a comic con badge to take part). If you can’t visit us in San Diego, make sure you stay tuned to the BioWare Pulse TV broadcasts where we will be keeping everyone up to date with live broadcasts all day, each day.

We’ll be revealing more details about the events at the BioWare base as we get closer to the event. Make sure you plan to visit BioWare at the San Diego Comic Con or check back for details on BioWare Pulse broadcasts live from the event. Follow us @MassEffect and @BioFeed for more details on Comic Con.

SDCC runs from July 21 to July 24.

In regards to inventory, i would have to agree with you. They can better improvised by the filtering and with proper tabs for their inventory category. On the other hand, i disagree with Witcher 2 combat.

It's the best combat experience i ever had in many RPGs i have played. It can still be improvised further but it's a really darn good sword-fighting experience. It's all about players preference to be honest.

We recently learned that hackers gained unauthorized access to the decade-old BioWare server system supporting the Neverwinter Nights forums. We immediately took appropriate steps to protect our consumers’ data and launched a thorough ongoing evaluation of the breach. We have determined that no credit card data was compromised from the servers, nor did we ever have or store sensitive data like social security numbers. Our investigation shows that information such as user names, encrypted passwords, email addresses, mailing addresses, names, phone numbers, CD keys and birth dates from these forum accounts on the system may have been compromised, as well as other information (if any) that you may have associated with your EA Account. In an abundance of caution, we have changed your password to ensure account security

Dragon Age 2 'Legacy' DLC Achievements spotted
QUOTE
If you can't wait until Comic-Con to see what's coming next for Dragon Age 2 DLC, or if you're one of the people on Earth who can't make it to Comic-Con (most of 'em), you can get an early glimpse of the future now, thanks to Xbox360Achievements.

The site has posted a list of achievements for the "Legacy" DLC, which we suppose could constitute spoilers for content nobody knew about. Judging by the Achievements, you'll be spending the majority of this episode in the Vimmark Mountains. Do those sound removed enough from the city of Kirkwall?
