i don't wish maxis launch unlimited data, if unlimited data sure slow. u pay what u will get. pay less then deserve. ^ ^

I totally agree on this. Probably the high ranking ppl also have not idea also coz Apple do not see Msia as a 'top' market for their phone. So it's all about the guessing game.

how abt if I still have 7-8 months contract on " galaxy s" plan? Can I add for 12 months iPhone 4s plan?
When it launched, I just walk it to get the iPhone 4s? Need any process?

As i said, u will pay what u get, if u not afford to pay then keep in slow network lo. can i say ferrari in malaysia overpriced? why proton so slow? u want unlimited like me then pay RM 250, dont want then go for other loh. u got time to wait and for me the time for me to wait why not go for income? if malaysian like you then this country not going to improved. maybe now u will not agree with me but 1 day u get what i mean.

Think iphone 4S will be listed at online apple store once it is launch. It make telco to come out even more competitive price.

won't be competitive as maxis has been selling outright all the time.

i have iphone 3gs bougt from Maxis with two year contract which the contract and warranty expired last month. My phone get reset several times with apple logo suddenly and cannot make incoming/outgoing calls. This has happen almost twice and i took it to Maxis center. They check and say it is perfect and nothing wrong with the set. But the phone again go to resetting today again after three days of my visit.
The customer care guy say that if i have same problem again, he can exchange me with new phone at a cost of rm 500. Is it worth exchanging the phone for 500 ringgit?, ( anyway it is already two years old phone and not JB)
what is the market price for 3gs 32gb model now? If they exchange me, is it new phone or any refurbished phone? how abt warranty for the phone? ( Is it not cover 2 years warranty considered it is a new phone as claim by maxis for replacement)

anybody have taken such exchange ? pls share

confirm? where did u get the info? what make u so sure?
when i was at uk apple store i claim warranty with 1 to 1 exchange without any charges and the apply staff told me is totally new set and it not refurbished set.

Rm500 to replace 32GB ip3gs look worth for me ..

I think apple stopped producing new ip3gs long time - only 8gb 3gs is new.

1-1 exchange in uk/us is the norm - here wait long time for the to check your phone, then may/may not replaced.

My friend did a claimed for his 16gb 3gs this june - and sold it to me. Then when i JBed it, it already had SHSH saved for previous fw (meaning previous owner already JBed it, and saved the SHSH to cydia server)

Also, u can check the manufacture date from the serial no (just google), and waranty check at apple website..

you have have to understand that apple always offer new or refurbished set for warranty claims.
and for your case, warranty has already expired.
furthermore, your model has been discontinued by apple for more than year.
so it will surely be a refurbished model from maxis
