I have a question regarding payment using credit card. I have Bank of America credit card, will maxis accept the payment? If it does, is there gonna be an extra charge for paying internationally? Thanks!

Hi all,

need your expertise.

Im on ivalue2 plan. I would like to get an iphone4 for my supplementary line, and I called maxis to ask how. Maxis says I have to change the supplementary line to either Value Plus Family OR Family Plus, then subscribe to the chosen iData plan.

is this the best way? would it be better if i separate this supplementary line and register it under iValue plan?

or just get an iphone without contract, without changing the rate plan? (but the 3G usage will cost a bomb)

I dont call much to this supplementary line, but heavy sms.

Current supplementary line monthly fixed charges is just rm10.

thank you so much.

just get the iphone with ivalue plan. it's the best value.

no need supplementary line anymore. use up the free calls and sms. even if u dont, there's a lot of options to text / call by way of iphone apps. i rarely SMS my gf, just use whatsapp. for calls there's skype or viber

good suggestion. can i maintain the same supplementary line number if i register it as an independent principle line?

and I guess the phone bills for both numbers will be separated too?

thanks alot.

Want to ask you guys something about supplementary line.

I myself is on Maxis iPhone iValue 1 plan. My girldfriend is on Hotlink Prepaid. Can I convert her prepaid into supplementary line under my iValue 1 line? If yes, what charges for converting? And what she will pay monthly & what is the name of her supplementary line? And what is her rates plan, eg: calling rates, sms rates, etc...
Lastly what is the benefit of supplementary line? I heard before that calling between principal line & supplementary line is free?
Sorry for asking so much questions, hopefully anyone of you guys can help me blush.gif
Thanks a lot in advance . blush.gif

the yellow man provider got unlimited plan for rm68 and the blue frog provider got rm38/58/88 plan with no overuse charge.. they only capped the speed... so choose wisely.. stay away from maxis or change before its too late..
