just a quick sharing.. I had got my Micro SIM adapter from ebay. USD 1.30 include shipping.. While waiting for the delivery of my iphone4 on next Friday. I cut my Maxis SIM card into Micro SIM size using the template that comes with the Micro SIM adapter that i bought. After cutting, i put it back into the SIM adapter & slot it back to my iphone3G.. It is working.. so, hopefully when my iphone4 arrive.. It is working too..Did anyone here also cutting the SIM card themselves?

i cut the sim myself... for the Noosy sim adapter, useless thing... cant be use ..

Btw.. mine ordered iPhone 4 on 17th August, ship on 7/9 deliver 9/9...

I just got mine last week thanks to a friend The phone is awesome but comes with 4.0.2 from factory. This also means I'm doom-ed and will be stucked with crap Apple OS until someone comes out with a method to make my life easier.

firmware that ships with the Iphone cannot be downgraded unless it has SHSH blobs saved in saurik's server, which is not possible.

oh...the waiting gonna be bored, i hv been thru it...

If u bough a SIM adaptor like me.It does comes with template (sticker) of micro SIM.Stick it to your SIM and follow the outline and cut it out.That is how I do,but I have yet to test it out as my iphone4 will be available next Friday.For now, I use the SIM adaptor on my iphone3G and it works fine..

I am from Malaysia. I am interested in the iPhone 4G. For an officially unlocked set, it cost SGD$888 for 16gb. I would like to buy that but my friends tell me that iPhone 4G is running on micro-SIM.

So if I bring back to Malaysia, would a Maxis simcard work? Or do Maxis offer micro-SIM? Will it be likely that Malaysia price is cheaper?

Then back with Malaysia, can I sign up for iData plan 3GB at RM78? and iValue call plan for RM50?

Please forgive me for not reading 88 pages if these questions has been asked before, please point me in the right direction.

1) yes, on microsim,

2) yes it will, yes they have, no one can answer that as the official price is not release but there is a high chance that the price will be same as i3gs and i3g

3)yes you can, but i AFAIK those package you mention is only for the new application from maxis and for i3g and 3gs only. not with other phone from other country.

so far it been confirm that reception issue is ok with String beavis and Yuva here. other i think also ok but some iphone do have this issue like my cousin but it can be cater using case and the drop signal ( if available) is only 1 to 3 bar only ( base on my cousin iphone 4)
