I don think GST can be claimed for online purchased items.
Only purchases from selected retail stores can claim GST.

Shouldn't be a problem, usually they only check ur car boot.
My case is at sg custom they open up my car boot n check 1 of the bags.

Guys, I realize Apple prepares 32GB units faster.
My order's 32GB is ready for shipment but the 16GB's status hasn't changed yet.

No u can't claim GST from any online purchases.

For maxis postpaid users, micro sim can be changed at maxis centres at RM25.
For other operators, either u DIY or get a micro sim cutter and convert ur normal sim to a micro sim.

Worth buying only if u work there?
I think it's worth buying even u're working in malaysia.
Compare the outright prices here n in sg.
If Iphone4 is to be sold outright by maxis at RM24xx, it'll be at least RM400 more expensive.
Personally, i don't think the warranty worth RM400.
I'd rather send it back to sg.

IPhone 4's price is probably not going to be anywhere or too much beyond the current 3GS's outright price.
So it should be somewhere around 24xx for the 16GB unit.
My guess is, either maxis stop selling outright units or remain outright purchases with the same price as the 3GS.

Received 32GB this morning, 6th September, exactly 14days.
16GB status is still "Not yet shipped"
Hopefully it'll be shipped by tomorrow.

GST can only be claimed if the IPad or IPhone is purchased through a retail store or authorized reseller like Epicentre.
IPhone4 is only available in Apple Online Store SG. So GST claim is not possible.

Yes, it's possible.
The only thing is that Apple Online Store SG doesn't ship Iphone4 to M'sia address.

If my memories serve me right, I've seen some posting about forumers buying via Maybank debit card.
Logically, it should be fine unless ur debit card doesn't have sufficient credit.
No guarantee but no harm trying if u don mind wasting time again to re-order when it gets rejected.
