They will not find that router.. there is no one router to fit everyone's needs. I set to work looking for alternatives since April because any idiot can see that users do not want to be locked onto and fully dependent on a single piece of equipment. They could have configured the BTUs to remove the need for VLAN tagging but they chose not to.. same sh*t with their SIP and IPTV system.

I asked them before, they said I have to do it myself ....
So I don't think TM will cancel any current telephone/streaymx automatically I asked them before

I was on Streamyx+Celcom combo and I have to run 2 separate places just to cancel my streamyx...

I'm still keeping my old number, just too many contacts listed with the old number la .....
as for the new number, i use it to call any TM number since it's free !

The UniFi has completely new range of numbers, if you register earlier at your area, you may ask for some nice number

I don't understand what you mean, what are you trying to achieve? Why would you want PPPoE on your own router and also on the DIR-615?

I also never used WAN connection 4, I just modified 1 and 3 and applied 3 to a physical port. I believe I changed the VLAN ID of WAN connection 1 (the default PPPoE profile) to 700 to prevent some kind of conflict but I can't remember what that was.

There's not enough ports and its not possible since the DIR-615 is wired into the WAN port of your router (which automatically blocks off all rfc1918 traffic).

I have problem with my Aztech Homeplug 109EP connecting STB, there is no powerline activity (even I press and hold 2 sec for both homeplugs, wait for 2 minutes, result still the same), there's only two out of three lights lid, please advise me, homeplug sifus.

You have a LAN cable between the floors?

Mine is Powerline Activity is not on, power and ethernet led is on.  If I do not plug LAN cable, there is only one power led on.

I did not paired side by side. Do I need to have LAN cable connected to modem/STB for pairing? Thanks for replying

TM does not want this because the security they have for maintaining user->stream access control is through the STB's firmware itself. I'm sure there are many exploits that still work but even if I (or someone else) continues to develop them, we'll keep it private as TM patched the last few ones using info from this thread within 24 hours.

Was told that VIP5 subscribers may end up having to pay for some of the "premium" HyppTV channels but free for VIP10 and VIP20 subscribers. Don't ask me what those "premium" channels are

I saw a note on their hypptv web page a month or so back saying that certain channels will be premium channels (cbeebies was one of them) and chargeable on 1st september onwards.

I only got my unifi on 1 sep, and when I choose cbeebies there's a charge of 3 or 5 "points" per month to subscribe to it. I'm not sure if there was such a charge before 1 sep or not.

You get 100 free points a month, the technician said you can top up by calling their call center and it will be charged to your bill. I don't know how much it costs though.
btw, does anybody know where I can get a cheap HDMI switch? What are the prices like in Pasar Road? My TV has only one HDMI which is being used for my mythtv pc right now. I saw a HDMI switch in all-it for RM400, not worth paying that to watch hypptv.
