No, the CPU speed is the same on our model. Although the specs claim 780Mhz, its actually 528Mhz.

i personally chose galaxy s due to stronger GPU, slightly faster CPU, and there's video call cam

A better one would be the HTC Legend.. selling at DiGi for rm999 with 2 year contract..

coz it has a faster CPU and higher resolution screen as compared to the Wildfire..

Anything less than 600Mhz will be a pain to run on 2.2. Legend or Aria would be good

I would say in terms of Specs, the Galaxy S would stand a stronger chance in the future, mainly because of its amazing GPU and CPU.. The GPU will allow u the fone to handle graphics better than the Desire. and future games that will come out will most likely be able to run on the Galaxy S..

Yo guys. If I plan to get an Android phone with these specs, which one should I get?

2. Budget of <1.4K

720p video playback
latest android >2.2
Screen bigger than 3.0"
acceptable battery life

I use a lot of 3g & wifi as well.

So issit 1 or 2? no budget or <1.4k? or both?

well if no budget then get the Galaxy S..

but with a budget of <1.4k then get the HTC Legend..

btw, all these new touch screen fones all dont have very good battery life.. but theyre acceptable..

I am lost between galaxy s and desire too... according to surveys, the pros of galaxy s is the super amoled screen, better camera and better sound quality...but the price is still too high compared to desire which has 2 years warranty...btw, wats the difference between wildfire and desire? more than rm500 difference..besides the processor and screen...
