Well still new. not many chinese stalls only few selling shoes, fake girls accesories, Cheap cloths & etc..Still no chinese food stalls & lack of fruits & vege stalls..More Malay food. OK-lah but the quality of those food abit lousy to me compare wth those nice Lekor, soto, nasi tomato at Puchong perdana Pasar malam...well probably give them more weeks & more pasar malam sellers know about this place..Oh it's on Tuesday..Yeah the only empty day in Puchong Pasar malam calender if I'm not mistaken..

Hi everyone.. anyone staying in taman wawasan knows about this news below?

Yeah Wawasan 1/2 is residential road for sure. Anyway, if they linked that road, for sure the residence will set-up security barricade for outsiders too..no diff haha |

QUOTE(stimix @ Dec 23 2010, 03:27 PM) Oh..that link haha..I usually cycle from Puteri to Wawasan using this disconected non exited lane but possble using bicycle & kapcai. Stimix bro, i thought that the border between taman wawasan and bandar puteri is separated by a concrete wall. That's why i don't understand how they gonna link up these two roads. If you dont mind can you explain more on this "non existance" link or a simple sketch on google map? Yeah Wawasan 1/2 is residential road for sure. Anyway, if they linked that road, for sure the residence will set-up security barricade for outsiders too..no diff haha So far the only link i know from wawasan to puteri is the road along the kenanga/akasia apartment, but no way to turn right at persiaran puteri from there due to barrier, hv to make a u-turn near petronas... long way... |

Just to hear your opinion..If u want to know where, just makan at Pao Xiang BKT, then u will see the road. I have been to Puchong a few times, not really familiar with shops there. Well, residential road is not designed for high traffic volume.Everyone hates congestion, worse if inside housing areas. Currently the situation is good enough, residents rather walk or leave their cars at the dead end to have food/banking etc. By linking the road, it only benefits outsiders, not us residents. - Happy Holidays to all - |

QUOTE(smallcrab @ Dec 25 2010, 04:54 PM) Well, residential road is not designed for high traffic volume. Linking is bad and so's the free parkers who do not want to pay parking fees and rather double park in front of people's homes. Dun understand why they can afford to buy cars but cannot afford to pay parking compared to the shopping that they do...the whole wawasan 1/1 area is going to be a battlezone of residents and outsiders who wanna park free there..hopefully the RA can step up the security and not let outsiders park in that area, that means all residents MUST pay to be able to hire security guards...Everyone hates congestion, worse if inside housing areas. Currently the situation is good enough, residents rather walk or leave their cars at the dead end to have food/banking etc. By linking the road, it only benefits outsiders, not us residents. - Happy Holidays to all - On another note, Merry Christmas u'all! |

I can see how Wawasan 1 residents feel under siege. First there's Setiawalk coming up fast right at their backdoor, then now this link road to B Puteri 1 The parking in Puteri 1 is already a nightmare most days and you can be sure it will get worse when the PFCC is fully up and running. If the link road is built, you can be sure lots of people will start parking in Wawasan 1. I will park there too and walk across, not because I'm not willing to pay the parking fee, but because the parking situation is so chaotic in Puteri 1. At the moment, I'm quite happy not to have the link road built, because I can still get across to Puteri 1 on my kapchai.
I think most Taman Wawasan residents are wondering just how bad the traffic situation is going to be like when Setiawalk is up and running. This post has been edited by PangurBan: Dec 26 2010, 12:55 PM |

Mall-in-a-park first of its kind in Malaysia
TWO Malaysian actors plan to open a shopping mall within a park in October next year, said to be the first of its kind in Malaysia Dubbed an outdoor living mart, the project will occupy a land area of 5.9ha located between Puchong, Seri Kembangan and Putrajaya. The project, dubbed "Garden Explore", will cover seven major zones of outdoor retailing lots, a plaza and entertainment hall, offices, cafes, restaurants and one petting zoo. "It's the first of its kind in Malaysia but there have been similar developments in China," said Jack Lim, a director of Green Atmosphere Sdn Bhd, at the launch in Kuala Lumpur yesterday. Managing director Nick JM Wong, a former actor, controls the firm while Weng Zheng Steel Bhd chairman Tan Ching Kee is the adviser. Construction work is due to start after the Chinese New Year next year. The company has not set any revenue target for the pioneer project. "The gross development value of the project is RM20 million and this does not include the land cost which was leased from Tempo Properties Sdn Bhd," Lim said. He declined to reveal the leasing cost, which runs for 10 years. A unique feature of the project is that cars will not be allowed into the area. Rather, visitors will have to walk or cycle their way through the mall. http://www.btimes.com.my/Current_News/BTIM...l#ixzz19a5ko3qS This post has been edited by goodiefish: Dec 30 2010, 04:19 PM |
