But if cannot & child have no interest at all..it will be double suffering for parent man...For sure I can't teach her in mandarin bcos I only know how to write my chinese name & also simple counting from 1-10 & those Elementary std 1 chinese like San Xia, Shan, San, Ma, Pa & etc ...susah lor...

So pretty depending on how the children grown up..If by 5-6 yrs old & having no interest in chinese..better don't force...Well my point of view-lah..haha
*
Speaking from my own experience, my whole life i studied in SRK and then SMK, even kindergarten also Tadika Perpaduan (govt kindy).. Parents didn't speak Mandarin with me at home, we speak our local dialect, but my schoolmates and i communicate in Mandarin all the time, except one or two pure bananas who dun even know how to write their own name in Chinese. Attended after school Mandarin classes provided FOC by the school (alot emphasis on hanyu pinyin and spelling test), but only one hour per day and i stopped at Form 2. Realized that i learnt how to read alot more Chinese words through interaction with friends, church (songs with chinese subtitles and hanyu pinyin, haha), watching dramas with chinese subtitles, and even karaoke.. But if you ask me to read a chinese book, i will hesitate because it's not my primary written language (although it might be my primary spoken language), reading it will need a lot of effort and it might take 3-4 times as long as someone fluent in reading chinese to finish it. But if it's a simple newspaper article, won't be a problem..

Point is, chinese school or kebangsaan school, your kids will have other sources to learn the other language from the surrounding. It depends on which one you perceive as more important and beneficial for your kid...

Also very fast..but from the outlook of Setia walk, Dun really look like big mall but like offices nia.. hmm.gif
*
Haha..SetiaWalk not exactly a mall. More like open air retail centre with lots of cafes, etc. GF and 1F retail, 2F onwards is office. There's an entertainment centre (near to PFCC side) with TGV, karaoke and Celebrity Fitness and some retail shops, sort of like eCurve...

Hi guys,
Just want to inform that i have actually opened a shop in bandar puteri puchong 2/2, nearby easyphamax there.

The name of the shop is Tea Milk.

It is a drink stall, take away concept. We are selling original taiwanese bubble tea. None of our products are made of artificial and colorful powder. This recipe is sincerely brought from taiwan and the taste is amazingly nice.

Our pearl or bubble is very special too!! We spend almost 3 hours to produce this super chewy and special black pearl.

You can ask for recommendation from our trained staff by giving your favourite preferences.
Every now and then we do have new products, so please support us ya!!  happy.gif
Please try our products and give us feedback to improve in the future.

Thank you very much.

Hi everyone.. anyone staying in taman wawasan knows about this news below?

2010/12/13

Penduduk taman bimbang laluan sibuk ancam keselamatan

Oh..that link haha..I usually cycle from Puteri to Wawasan using this disconected non exited lane but possble using bicycle & kapcai.

Yeah Wawasan 1/2 is residential road for sure. Anyway, if they linked that road, for sure the residence will set-up security barricade for outsiders too..no diff haha
*
Stimix bro, i thought that the border between taman wawasan and bandar puteri is separated by a concrete wall. That's why i don't understand how they gonna link up these two roads. If you dont mind can you explain more on this "non existance" link or a simple sketch on google map? blush.gif

So far the only link i know from wawasan to puteri is the road along the kenanga/akasia apartment, but no way to turn right at persiaran puteri from there due to barrier, hv to make a u-turn near petronas... long way...

Me took part in the protest, haha. Staying at the area.

If u want to know where, just makan at Pao Xiang BKT, then u will see the road.
*
Hahah..icic... but won't it be more convenient for you to do your chores if the road is linked? Just to hear your opinion..

I have been to Puchong a few times, not really familiar with shops there. Pao xiang is near giant izit?

Talking about Indian barber in Puchong Anyone know which one provide head massage at the end of service? Nowadays can't find this service anymore...
*
Here in Abu Dhabi i go to barber shop every 2-3 weeks.. cut hair but more to enjoy their head massage. The barbers not from India but Pakistan, but the skill very good also leh! No neck twisting but they massage the head until you can feel all your stress coming out in hot "qi" through your head, lol.. Not only that they also know how to do face threading, good for those with lots of hair on face..

Sigh, later when i return to Malaysia i will miss this service... sad.gif

There's no building tall enough on Tesco side of LDP to take a good pic of SW and PFCC together. I took this from the bridge in front of Tesco almost 2 months ago.. LDP really changed the face of Puchong!

Setia walk construction until midnite & full weekends.

Now the ongoing new tower beside PFCC is the same.
Me staying at wawasan 1 can hear those cranes working most of the time, its quite loud.
Crazy.
*
Lol..pity u bro, i think i know how it feels..

If tower crane is working for material lifting, there will be minimal noise. Same for steel, MEP services fixing, etc..it wont be so noisy.. The main cause for noise will be concreting works and also cutting/ hacking works... sure get complain from the neighbourhood.

If the jam issue can be eased or resolved, Puchong will be a superb place to stay!
