cause last time someone told me umobile use celcom network. so i make some wild assumption that it has the same coverage too tongue.gif
hey nice speed man. celcom kinda worst on peak time. lunch hour and prime time 8-9pm. sigh sakit kepala wor
but anyhow it all depends on location
*
Umobile broadband Internet uses their own's network but Umobile phone(voice call) uses Celcom's network.
So far Umobile's own mobile network transmission tower only cover Klang Valley->Seremban->Port DIckson and Iphoh city and some part of JohorBahru.
That is why Umobile broadband coverage only cove Klang Valley->Seremban->Port DIckson and Iphoh city and some part of JohorBahru only.
But Umobile phone(voice call) coverage is able to cover whole Malaysia because it uses Celcom's transmission tower
(correct me if i am wrong)

correction: Umobile phone(voice call) uses Celcom's network. when outside of their own 3G network.

e.g. Klang Valley/Seremban/PD/Ipoh/JB = Umobile's own network for Voice, SMS and Broadband

anywhere outside of their coverage = roaming on Celcom network but just Voice/SMS

*Update: Noticed umobile have been quietly expanding in Johor as well thumbup.gif :

network expansion takes long time, large sum of money, and other resources.

we've just got to wait till umobile slowly expand.

port-in oso can.

after port-in, follow the instructions here http://www.u.com.my/u-broadband/getting-started

*make sure prepaid credit is enough to purchase the plans.

if dont want port-in, get a new prepaid pack and follow same instruction.

Now just wondering, if i nvr dc means i can keep running ??? muahaha. Let's see how long it can go... The experiment ><

I'm very happy with my Maxis 3G Internet but on another hand, I'm really surprised to see PD, a small little town has U-Mobile HSDPA too. laugh.gif

I mean, why PD out of so many big places? laugh.gif
