cause last time someone told me umobile use celcom network. so i make some wild assumption that it has the same coverage too
hey nice speed man. celcom kinda worst on peak time. lunch hour and prime time 8-9pm. sigh sakit kepala wor but anyhow it all depends on location |

QUOTE(cruxidex @ Jul 28 2010, 09:04 PM) i have confirmed with the @umobile018 CS few months back.. i think i've been told like this also before but i've misinterpretedfor broadband.. when no U 3G coverage u cant use the net at all... it will never roam thus there will not be any roaming charges but for voice n sms... when no U 3G network.. they tumpang celcom 2G network with no extra charge soon... they will tumpang on DiGi but dunno when will start.. all that we know after the celcom tumpang contract ended.. they will tumpang DiGi.. including data n broadband 2G (EDGE) |

QUOTE(adrianyujs @ Aug 15 2010, 02:35 PM) This service very very suck!!!!!!! dude agak2 la. all broadband provider had FUP laI just paid RM68 few day ago since they stated "unlimited", I'm RS premium user too, the download speed quiet satisfied... but today... suck!! they limited my bandwidth to 512kbps!!!! What the point i paid so much as stated in what they offer?? This is ridiculous!!!! Will never never use UMobile again!!!! and limited speed at 512kbps is not bad you know. most of the provider will limit to 128kbps. imagine wht u can do with tht speed? |

QUOTE(acat @ Aug 22 2010, 05:55 PM) yeah, that applicable to other broadbands too. weekend=user spend their time at home=network congested waa mcm ni pun ada. can request more quota based on budi bicara cs but still, UM can give me decent speed even in weekend. this cant be practiced to other network as they got pretty much users. so lets enjoy the speed while we can about the cap, im not really sure how they cap users. it seems they very generous when it comes to quota. i've read somewhere in um website, u actually can call customer service to give u more quota after urs been capped. still up to their consideration whether to give u 'extra quota', though |

anyone aware bout the new package that umobile launched? not so new la. just revised the old package
on u40 after exceed data capped additional data usage will be charged. not sure they capped the monthly until wht. if im not mistaken around rm160 or sumtin and u68 will be unlimited wif no extra charges if exceeded monthly quota there it goes my plan to subscribe u40 on my prepaid with a huge expectations to leech the umobile bandwidth to d max This post has been edited by MaGNiFiCo: Sep 8 2010, 03:52 AM |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Nov 26 2010, 08:37 PM) dont expect anything higher for upload. shouldnt they focus on hsupa implementation rather than introduced a new 42mbps in bts?it's a network limitation. umobile is on hi-speed downlink packet access (hsdpa) only. focusin on upload speed and and the response time is what make our browsing much more smooth.. |

QUOTE(haxri @ Mar 2 2011, 05:55 PM) ssup guys. just bought my u68 plan yesterday, and tested the speed at usj17 subang jaya. the speed shown is only 0.38mb down and 0.05 mb up, is there any way to improve the connection, been trying a few spots in my house, but it show the same results. or is it because now is kinda like the peak time of the day? 0.38 is the best and speed you could get for u68 package bro. theres nothin much you could do but upgrde ur package to enjoy a faster speed |

QUOTE(shahrul_sama @ Mar 3 2011, 04:39 PM) agreed..im also using YES 4G ,streaming one episode of drama series with medium quality already gone 300mb ++...but the speed is awesome.. definitely YES dongle is much cheaper compare to umobileyou didnt noticed already using up 1gb data when streaming youtube..HD playback very smooth.. and YES 4G modem far more cheaper..only the data usage are freaking expensive... YES 4G will introduce postpaid plans tomorrow...rumors rm68 for 3.5gb data...dont know their 10gb data price.. we'll see who will provide better plans for ultra hi speed broadband. maybe UM tryin to cope with expensive sign up as their initial funds to roll out their coverage? as all broadband did right..so smart move is just to wait for few month before subscribing it |
