QUOTE(MaGNiFiCo @ Jul 30 2010, 02:05 AM) Correction there,Celcom and Um (maxis as well but i forgot. nvm use them b4) are use NAT network. so meaning, everyone is coming out from 1 ip Diginet is also the same but 3gdgnet is using dynamic ip which a true internet standard. (dynamic ip like screwmyx, everyone gets their own internet ip not some NAT IP) |

QUOTE(bL4cK_73dDy @ Aug 5 2010, 03:52 AM) Hi guys, this usually involves plugging a usb dongle to another 3g router and share thru lan or wifiI want to ask is there any hardware i can insert my simcard into it and then plug it into my belkin router to share the internet? QUOTE(cybpsych @ Aug 5 2010, 11:00 AM) I have 2 days extended time. see can I go a week long or not. Heres the test condition, the usb dongle is connected to 3g router that's fan cooled & UPS backed located at the windows & facing "I believe" Umobile's tower(MY18@fullbar). It gonna be a long wait >< QUOTE(acat @ Aug 5 2010, 01:08 PM) I only have RM8 left in that simcard so if it ended, I shuld have used use my credit ages ago |

QUOTE(acat @ Aug 10 2010, 03:53 PM) actually speedtest is not that reliable. although im getting 'superb result' on speedtest, but the real speed can be seen when u download something. the highest download speed i've got so far is 400kbps++. never reach 500-600kbps as speedtest shows local speedtest isnt all that accurate. look at unifi. local speedtest imba fast but just a SG speedtest reduce by alot |

What the point i paid so much as stated in what they offer?? This is ridiculous!!!! Will never never use UMobile again!!!! *wait... why am i feeding a troll????* |

QUOTE(eugenechiuu @ Aug 20 2010, 05:49 PM) becuz u need to register and fill up a form in Umobile's counter compare to buying conveniently available starter pack.prepaid is best for short-term use. no need to go around registering and canceling stuff. while postpaid is best for ppl that are going to use UM bb for the long run, just pay the bill and dont need to remember the validity and stuff |

maybe becuz it a sunday... I notice a pattern in Umobile's network...
I use it at my home so during working hours, UM fast. maybe cuz no one at home. but at night till daylight comes, UM is so so only... and during weekends, also so so only.... i also wondering how Umobile determine and cap their users. I surely have passed way beyond their limit within a week... but i still remain uncap |

QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Aug 27 2010, 06:19 PM) Usually there will be less users during daytime especially on weekdays. Nighttime is when most people come online after work. true... but on umobile is more noticeable cuz during working hours, the network cuz reach up to 2-3mbps while at night, i usually get around 0.7mbps. |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Aug 28 2010, 06:53 AM) ya... and it seem to be working @cocooh Usage is unlimited, quota b4 cap is 5GB pratically but in reality maybe 10-15GB b4 the capping kicks in unlimited is define as unlimited usage without being blocked from using but FUP / capping still can be apply. It is called unlimited cuz it still allow you to surf the internet but at a lower speed only. |
