i have been using Umobile 68 broadband for about 3 months at my in law house in Segambut & quite satisfied.

i've been thinking to change my telephone voice plan from Celcom to Umobile.

but im just worried about the coverage, though i heard they use Celcom 2G network outside of Klang Valley.

anyone can 'testify' on the reliability of umobile voice coverage outside of klang Valley?

For me, it is ok. I tested it when my dad is driving in highway. It also depend much about the signal quality you are receiving.

The coverage when failover to Celcom is as good as normal 2G coverage, almost everywhere can get the signal. The downpoint now is cant use 3G when inside Celcom2G. Hopefully they implement the EDGE when we roam into celcom2G, at least some data usage haha

uMobile is currently upgrading their network to HSPA in Ipoh.
In fact Celcom is already trialling LTE in Ipoh.

That's why you can have 350-400kbps uploads.

Nice speed you have there. Manjoi is a Malay settlement in Ipoh near Jelapang.
Seems they are heavily emphasizing development there for the next election.

It's just a small kampung situated away from Ipoh but somehow recently the Perak Government is shifting all their Govt Depts as well as the Ipoh Sentral station development to that area. More so, it'll be one of the first areas to have Unifi at the same time as Tasek Exchange in Ipoh.

actually Manjoi is one of the biggest kampung in Malaysia, combining other several small kampung...no wonder gov will give special attention at there because that place is the highest population malay in ipoh ....if they lost control at there ,whole lembah kinta will be dominant by PKR...haha..

i think is the only kampung got hi internet speed coverage by the whole ISP...Digi,Umobile,YES is very gud there..im always connected when balik kampung:clap:

LTE already come to ipoh? rclxms.gif

My U-Mobile is quite slow recently, the only best time I could get 1.5-2.0mbps would be around 4am-5am morning, the rest hour its just slow, no choice but to stick on my sister P1 :/
