Like digilife say, 50218 is U mobile. U mobile does not allow data roaming on the celcom network.

Check with the SC if your Sim card still cannot be used in the mobile phones.

soon, Umobile users will be allow to roam on Celcom 2G Data, stay tuned thumbup.gif

the best is to verify with Customer Service, but it is most likely, it does not tied with Voice if you talking about old 2 years plan.

Are you referring to using a U Mobile SIM with your phone or Celcom SIM card?
If you using U Mobile postpaid SIM card, it required 3G phone, prepaid SIM can be use with 2G/3G phone

Using an o2 SIM atm in my phone, the modems used the Celcom SIM card. I'd get Streamyx, but I only need Internet until April (for the moment, later I'll stay longer).

All the others say that there is a 5 GB cap, but U Mobile says unlimited, which it really isn't, it's the same as everyone else has... and if I use the weekly Celcom prepaid plan I can get 8 GB a month for 72 RM IIRC... just not sure what happens when I reach the 2 GB per week. But that's for the Celcom thread I guess.

It is unlimited because you are not being blocked from surfing the internet after reaching the quota, but you are being restricted to a lower speed.

Some modems got a microSD slot (IIRC), best thing is check the manual (or google for the exact model).

I am using the CSL modem. Can you post the picture and see is it the same modem used by me?

Also, do not attempt to force open it because you should be able to access the sim card by the USB plug in place and Micro SD card beside the sim card.
