Did anyone of you receive calls from lawyer that most of the banks will stop disbursing money due to non-compliance by the Developer? I am not familiar but it's something about Master Land Title thingy.

Anyone?

Yes, i received it yesterday evening. As far as i know, the bank (OCBC for my case) has faxed a memo to Developer for the decision on the settlement of non-compliance but yet to receive any feedback. They wanted us as a buyer to push developer for a confirmation.

Still, am I the only one getting this call?

I'm using ocbc bank also but I didn't receive the call. No wonder in facebook, somebody mention that no one was working on site ......

thanks a bunch from someone took OCBC that provided feedback as second reference. by the way, would you or someone took OCBC do the other way round by please call to OCBC justify who's giving fact or rumor? thanks again.

Please don't spread rumors that doesn't come with facts, even you have insider information because that doesn't help the situation. If you really want to help, verify the rumors and come with facts.

What kind of non-compliance? Only OCBC reluctant to release or all other bank reluctant to release....as I read through, I can only deduce that OCBC is reluctant to release....no other banks....

Further, I think this is between the developer and the bank agreement, buyer have any rights / control on this? I notice that most purchasers took loan from OCBC, uob, scb n public bank. I guess these r the participating bank for the package.

By the way, any1 taking loan from public bank? Why like no news already on the disbursement. Uob and scb still releasing their progressive payment....just want to check whether public bank also reluctant to release? If all the 3 banks r releasing, why the he'll is OCBC not releasing?

I believe it depends on respective bank...the letter of undertaking has been endorsed, the bank should disburse the $ to the developer n the developer should grant the purchaser a clean title...have anyone seethe master title before? It's weird that OCBC start to disburse 1st payment, then do not want to disburse further....when they disburse 1st payment, normally all the doubt has been settled.

Mine is also UOB and I just received a progress payment request dated 21/11/2011 from the developer for the work done on sewerage and drains for Block B3. So far no communication from the bank.

so many issues on this project, starting to lose faith liao

I just received the letter from bank to alert me that the 2nd progressive payment was released. The progess is too slow and I think this project unable get to deliver as agreed in the S&P. T_T

that mean the peter is quit rich no loan needed

My UOB has released the 2nd progress payment today.

Relax. The project (for phase 1) still got 13 months to go and I am quite confident that it will complete on time barring any further interruptions from the squatters.
