QUOTE(chicaman @ Jul 25 2010, 08:47 PM) If not mistaken is FreOffice~ ic. should be good then, coz sometimes get bored can watch some movie to kill time Basically those 700mb movie, 350mb english series could be watched without any problem, but I cant fast forward the movie though. But so far I've been watching them through wifi where they are shared in my desktop and I just watch directly from my phone through wifi and certain video can fast forward certain cant. Codec limitation i guess. Usage wise, I love the 50-60fps of kinetic scrolling in Music player and photo gallery in N97 compared to N900 because N900 scrolling rate is low. I am sure this can be fixed through firmware update, its up to nokia to do this or not. Because 5800 and N97 having identical hardware and N97 photo gallery scrolling is way smoother than 5800. Battery life wise, N97 battery life is good if not best. So far it could last me a few days for normal use. Which include calls, sms, wifi (minor usage). Standby could last 4-5 days if not using at all. N900 I am charging it once or twice per day. Battery capacity is lesser than N97. The bad thing is the battery life and standby could last me around 1-2 days I guess. Just got the phone for 1 week. darn, i was expecting battery life at least could last me 2 days. coz n97 could last me almost 4 days with normal usage. |

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Jul 25 2010, 09:22 PM) how can compare like that the mostly sad part for N900 come with 1320 mAh, with a powerful proc which can OC drain a lots of juice for the battery, unfortunately Nokia provide 1320mAh while 1500mAh already exist N97 1500mAh vs N900 1320 mAh. At least try compare like N97 1500mAh vs E72 1500mAh QUOTE(chicaman @ Jul 25 2010, 09:30 PM) Yes can edit and create according to here oic thanks http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=58342 But I am using DocToGo FreOffice and DocToGo got any different? |

So anyone here tried the Sun Global Battery ? On V3 thread someone posted that Sun Global battery about 1/3 price of original battery price (per Nokia Centre price). You can get cheaper Ori battery from outside but you need to verify that it is really original.

I have read all about N900, from aspire N900 Thread V1-V4, and I finally know that GPS is not a selling-element in N900. Even with Sygic it's still with out-dated maps *sigh*. Yet I'm still very curious bout their OviMap, can it run offline? (i guess not?)
I'm getting my N900 this Saturday, hopefully if our COD success. Looking forward to that day very much, eagerly and excitedly. I'm an avid blogger too, that's why N900 is one of my choice for more comforting surfing experience. Maemo platform is another attraction (althought I'm not a big fan of Linux type OS). But suprisingly Nokia is abandoning Maemo for Meego, no wonder the price of N900 drops so much; that it don't sound like a joke to me. Yet I still hope there's alternative, maybe to update Maemo to Meego or Androids (with no risk) or betterstill Nokia keep the Maemo alive. I would say open source like Maemo, Meego and Androids would be the most wanted element in future phone, rather than *cough* Iphone *cough* where we need jailbreak to run apps. I would say "What a trouble!". Nonetheless I heard the Ovistore is in beta mode, any different from the normal Ovistore? One more thing I don't really understand is N900 has a FM transmitter but it require a 3rd party software to run it. That's a pain in the ass not? Where can I find it? Still I think I gonna pick N900 over Milestone now. Nothing come near to N900 in term of Internet browsing, I guess. Correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers guy! ;D |
