If it's iPhone lover, then no point you show them comparison; they will deny everything. The say LOVE is blind.

Anyway, in terms of smartphone, no need to use N900, no need to be so generous, it's way too powerful, any smartphone also is better than iPhone, even my old Nokia 6600 is more powerful.
But in terms of gaming/entertainment and graphics, I believe no smartphone/phone can beat iPhone.
In short, both are different species, iPhone does not fit in the category of smartphone, their smartness is not the computer-like smart, it's smart for dumb users; it's so easy, simple and straightforward that almost anybody can use it. But in terms of power and features, flexibility, it basically looses to ANY smartphones out there.

yes...n900 got virtual keyboard...just press the white box (the place where ur words come out when u typing) and virtual keyboard will auto popout...too get all those sign u just press the shift button on virtual keyboard

So, iPhone is like branded handbags. They're paying mostly for the word "Apple". Each alphabet cost a lot, don't pray pray. Oh, forgot about the Apple logo, that one is veli expensive.

Anyway, due to this popularity, any new phone comes up, sure people will compare it with the iPhone, it's the only thing they know, too bad.

guys, are there any apps available for MSN, yahoo messenger, twitter, foursquare and etc for n900?
i know garmin not available for maemo5~

There are, but you won't need it, as I have mentioned previously, the contact/address book has integration with IM.
When you add a new contact, you can add his/her Facebook Chat account, MSN, Skype, etc.
Actually, you don't need to manually add, when you set your IM, it will retrieve all your contacts automatically.

How to Chat? Everything is inside Conversations. This is where you do your SMS and also Instant Messaging Chat.

This is something new and nice concept, social integration. I believe this is what Microsoft saw and decided to do a make-over on their Windows Mobile OS. In the ads, they specifically mentioned, they're emphasizing on "Social", which is what N900 has already done.

coz some fren use the n900 for review before~ and his opinion is that the n900 not that great due to lack of support~

now i am undecided~

some chinese input sw will disable virtual keyb after installing....

some themes also screw up virtual keyboard... try switching themes first - back to ori theme.

hi all, when i try to install fcamera. The apps told me will remove blessn900.

is fcamera related to blessn900 ?

Just install plugins from App Manager & your IM contacts will be saved in inbox/phone contacts

i didn't install any chinese SW in N900

already set back to ori theme....problem remain...

about the last method...is it input at "X terminal"??

go to setting(setting handphone)..then in personalization choose text input .and click (give check sign) virtual keyboard..
then save it.
your virtual keyboard should pop out..when you clik on text area

just try the Fcamera by uninstall the blessn900.

unfortunately, this apps can't be use on my n900.
And this app make my default camera are fail to execute.

Any one can try and share the experience with all of us?

note that fcamera come with a driver too.


according to the blogs, this apps can take raw photo too.
