He said yesterday that the GSM progress is going on very slowly.Wonder whats wrong.

I suspect its because since there isn't any nokia phones using android, some code and files have to be written and replaced from scratch. the other stuff was quicker because they were using modified config files from other android devices ( milestone mostly )

no problems, its quite smooth. The latest build has graphic acceleration, and works fine running at 600mhz. if you want super smoothness at all times tho need to OC after installation, hehe,

Today tested the N900 at Pavilion there really no Portrait mode for the N900 right ? Since I try to move to portrait and it just not happen because I was trying the messaging system and there 1 staff there told me need to get 3rd party software for that to work like type a sms on potrait mode or on screen keyboard.

Should be at 95% after full recharge.The battery will never charge up to 100% as this is some sort of safety feature to protect the battery.
Last time I had 100% reading but that turned out to be app glitch

Currently there is CTRL+SHIFT+R shortcut to enable potrait mode.However this does not work perfectly for all apps.
There is rotatedaemon to permanently enable 360degree rotation but that doesn't work 100% either.
For potrait sms you can use VertSMS or fastsms.Both of them support t9 potrait keyboard.
Browser supports potrait though.

There is good chance that Nokia will make the rotation permanent in next PR update(If there will be any)

cos if battery problem, have to claim it fast fast since AP battery only one month warranty

that android thingy is (frankly speaking) very attractive, but for me to sacrify GSM over android; i choose GSM.
so gonna stay witha Maemo for a while.

I have tried manual and autoinstaller for many times. But dont know y i cant seem to repartition the 8gb memory card.
