QUOTE(metsatsu @ Jul 19 2010, 10:38 PM) I personally think that whichever space that u can easily install the component would be considered ideal. that's why i never wanted to try the cylindrical res, ur just gonna have hassle finding a spot to install it. if ur casing is not RV02, i do have a sweet spot to suggest for u. but guess not in your case. I think a bay res would be the most suitable too. just go for bay res bro, which i think for your casing is probably the most suitable. QUOTE(supernothing @ Jul 19 2010, 10:43 PM) there was a guy in XS who mounted his EK multioption to his GPU water block on the RV2. i tried to find the picture but it's already moved. Wow...i can't really picture it but that is something new. Might google for that, thanks he was using the smallest multioption. mount it directly on his GPU water block using 90 degree adapter QUOTE(monsh @ Jul 19 2010, 10:57 PM) Yeah...did that...most of the peeps were using either bay res or a mcres or those 2 in 1 pump/res combo |

Juz to find out more which is more prefered among wc modders here when comes to these two chassis, Obsidian 800D or TJ-07, both r greate for wc modding.
I might get one of these for my future chassis upgrade. Added on July 20, 2010, 12:34 am QUOTE(rzs77 @ Jul 19 2010, 11:48 PM) I think a bay res would be the most suitable too. Chassis weight would not be part of my concern since I don't move or carry the chassis ard occasionally.
But the gd thing abt alluminium compare to steel would be better shielding againts electronic interference. If weight is Ur priority concern, many Lian Li cases r great too. PC-A77 looks like katak jus can't get over this mod. i want to make one http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=252017 So U think the PC-A77 has better wc expandability than the 2 mentioned? Can any1 think of a better chassis than the 2 mentioned for wc? cause I don't find there is any better than these 2 This post has been edited by J1@l_ l_l l\l: Jul 20 2010, 12:55 AM |

right on the money monsh and DzX..
the greatest penalty is on coling performance in the block. not to worry bro, a simple fix/swap will do...a simple case of mireading the manual, cud happen to even the best of us. |
