QUOTE(ezzydamvp @ Jul 18 2010, 01:07 AM) i have to agree on this and your ears will become deaf haha..for high end rad, its the matter of how high rpm fan ur running on those...most of them will shine on 2k rpm unless u have good fans like scythe gt, noiseblockers, triebwerks.. but the cost is a bomb dont know why they remove the x-changer |

QUOTE(monsh @ Jul 18 2010, 02:17 AM) well i actually have no idea how the dBa works..the coolermaster R4 fans states it is 19dBa.. and the Scythe GT is at 28dBa.. but apparently the R4 fans is sooo much louder when i ran in numbers and i never believe it was anything near 19dBa, maybe nearly 30 or so.. and my Silverstone FN121-BL fans.. those are pretty quite as well (since they spin around 1.3k rpm).. dont think they sound like 27dBa at all.. nearly silent as my GT"s .. |

QUOTE(monsh @ Jul 18 2010, 04:26 AM) coolermaster is crapping out the spec dude . hmm yea i know that too actually..well if u say ur SS is nearly silent as ur GT then it'll probably true cause 27/28dBA maa . The SS is actually quieter than my GT"s.. I ran 3 of them vs 3 of my GT"s.. they were far way quieter .. altho the GT's were soo much better in terms of performances.. QUOTE(J1@l_ l_l l\l @ Jul 20 2010, 12:30 AM) Juz to find out more which is more prefered among wc modders here when comes to these two chassis, Obsidian 800D or TJ-07, both r greate for wc modding. both the obsidian and tj07 are great cases I might get one of these for my future chassis upgrade. Added on July 20, 2010, 12:34 am Thanks for the 2 blue color ashtrays mate. i would prefer the TJ07 thou since its made of aluminium.. so much easier to mod and lighter as well.. but u can't go wrong with either two |

QUOTE(supernothing @ Jul 21 2010, 03:13 PM) if you want to work on this case, definately need to mount the rad outside. if done the right way, it can still look good. TFC Monsta.. example » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « @selfdz87 for your case, hdd cage definitely going bye bye. can use that space to mount the pump + res. sell off the 250 res and use 100 instead. get a male-male adapter (vlad has emm less than 20 bucks), mount your res on top of that pump, through the water inlet. i smell a new case coming |

QUOTE(selfdz87 @ Jul 24 2010, 10:32 AM) damn those tubes look sooo sexy QUOTE(vladtheimpaler @ Jul 24 2010, 09:39 PM) hi bro, i dont think its a CM fan is it?? looks like a xiggy fan ur fans there bro, is it in pull ? are those CMs ? congrats on the build bro, a beginers build with multi res 100, that deserve a bleedin res 100 with the cap on or off doesnt really matter. with the cap off u ought to understand the risk involve especially of overflowing when the pump is turn off, as this is when presure will push the level up = overflowing, with litle room above the water line, overflowing when the pump is off is pretty easy to do. with the cap tighly on, u would reduce/eliminate the risk of spilling / overflow, but bleed time might take a hit. up to the installer really...i've used the res 100 before with a shorter tube to the pump and with a more powerful pump, so what i did was put the cap on, bubles will surface and get trap above the water line, so just uncap it, release the trapped air, and put the cap back on, refill when necessary. reduce any overflow risk. but being a small res, a low water line aint that pretty, a full one is (imo)..so i add a fillport, which lets me fill the res totally, and worry less on overflowing..i think bro lichyetan highlighted this too. and another thing, flaming, however or whatever ways u spins it, aint cool. a healthy discussion is. btw vlad ur inbox is full.. can't pm ya.. lol.. |

Q9450's are pretty hard to get 4ghz.. taking from my experience.. mine was a Q9400, its lil sister..
highest i could get was 3.6ghz stable on a UD3P.. temps were incredibly low (below 60C) with my TRUE.. went for 3.8ghz but the multiplier was limiting me |
