Guy,

PPTEK = Sole distributor
APES = Dealer
PCZONE = Dealer
CEX = Dealer

Distro = Cannot sell to general public, cannot undercut dealer
Apes = Resides above Apes (physical location)

All the dealers get stock from PPTEK

I get all my stuff from Ezzy, that's because he is more flexible and is closer to me than anybody else. Prices are more or less the same amongst them.

There should be another distro for other brands but I only buy Bitspower, XSPC, and EK

Do they have RX480 rad or not?

any thought bout this: i tried to mount my mcp655b pump on the wall but when i did that,water seem cant circulate to every part...but when i put it down,normal position,water can circulate n i had my rig up n running hours later...does this mean tht the pump cant be mounted in any other way? i swear ive seen the pump mounted differently tongue.gif

The pump pushes water as opposed to sucking in water. I've also had some odd problems before. I don't see a res in there, is it behind your test bench? (or is this your casing? sweat.gif)

I realized that if you really want to help the pump get the water going in the fastest and least troublesome way, it is best to create a one way water flow starting from the Res:

Res - Pump - Rad - block (but do not connect it back to the res).

Keep filling water into the res as the pump runs until the water is flowing out of the other end fluidly. You can now close the loop and your water will flow perfectly without the pump pushing too much air or water getting stuck in certain areas in the tubing. If you don't do this, some large air pockets in the tube can cause the water to get stuck...

Added on September 12, 2011, 6:55 pmBtw my loop is the same, water feeds the pump from above, then the pump pushes the water upwards. Also, if you look carefully, my water actually had to go through roller coaster ride before hitting the pump's inlet tongue.gif

the res is on top...

res-pump-WBs-2xrad-res

i did just that,with the pump mounted at 'casing's wall'..at 1st the water seem to flow into the pump n cpu wb after but after i add water,it just stop...n heat keep building up until the wb n barb is hot to touch...the pump is not hot coz there's water in there...

then,i drain the whole loop n put the pump like what u guys seen on the pic...so,thats y i ask if the pump cant be mounted any other way...

You can mount the pump however you want as long as the water can flow into it, again, best to leave the water flowing one way and only close the loop when you see water coming out of the other end consistently.

theoretically, u cannot mount pump too high or else u trap air inside the pump, so the pump is pumping air, not water. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

of all the wc parts, the pump is the lowest as u can see from the pic, even before i remounted the pump at the case's floor...n in the res,water was almost full
well, its running well now just the water in the res is kinda warm, may be coz the fans on the rads is in pull setup

Generally you should have a delta of around 10C so if you run your AC at 23C you should get no more than 33C. My water never go above 31C biggrin.gif

Just added a kill coil today.

ive put two temp monitor,one in the res and another one in the pump...both read out at 34.5-35.5'c

had an incident before i went to sleep last nite...one of the tubing at the pump was a bit detached and water leaked...never had this before...very fortunate sweat.gif suspected that the water was a bit too warm that the barb was heated a bit n the tubing was loosened cry.gif

either fans on rad has to be in push config or get comp fitting...rite now using hose clamp at that one point

Get compressions, you can forget about them ever pulling out by themselves.

i think its better to put temp sensor exactly before radiator and also after radiator .
then u can know performance of ur radiator tongue.gif
its cooling capacity .

I have one bitspower temp sensor at the outlet of my reservoir. Gives me an idea exactly what water temp is being fed in the loop
