condensation doesnt always occur at the CPU block itself .
it might occur on the tube, reservoir and any other components as well .
doesnt have to OC higher, just pump more voltage .
on i7 a few notch would get u higher temp already .

hhehehe.. same effect as u fill the reservoir with an ice cube biggrin.gif.

Added on October 28, 2010, 9:52 amAFIK condensation only will occur when ur water is cooler than ur room/surrounding temperature. how can this posible? unless u fill ur reservoir with an ice cube or using water chiller.

its like a glass of cold water. when the surrounding is hot u can see the condensation. but if room temperature is the same or cooler than what in the glass there will be no condensation.

Added on October 28, 2010, 9:59 amu got to make the water temp in ur water cooling set below ur room temp to get the condensation smile.gif.

you can try and get 6/32 thread instead of M3.5...

I bought M3.5 before, dunno why cant screw into my swiftech radiator while 6/32 screws in easily.

Is deionized water usable in water cooling with biocide? Some people say its same as distilled water (the end product) and some say its different. I couldnt find distilled water near my place so I purchased deionized one from a garage. I HOPE IT WORKS. sad.gif

Added on October 28, 2010, 10:17 pmCan someone help with this? I read from some places that deionized water is fine but some other places says it will corrode my copper and brass. I already bought the water and I'm waiting to fill up my system. sad.gif

M4 definately is too big. Tried M3, should be allright if being used only to fasten the fan onto the radiator.

My case, the whole radiator is being hung at the back of the casing with 4 long M3 studs.

Doesn't seem OK with M3 size, the orientation looks to me like the radiator will fall off anytime sweat.gif

Haven't tried 6/32, the unit looks to me like US customary thread, I believe the M3 n M3.5 r metric.

This could be due to the standard is not being globalized. They happy, they produce M3.5, when they r not happy, they produce M3.

I don't know what is the root cause of this small matter.

PJS11 near Sunway Pyramid there got 1 screw shop got plenty of 6/32 screws... source for 1.25 inch or 1" 1/4 length, should fit 25mm fan nicely.

you can source for 42mm version as well, fit 38mm thich fan.
