I'm looking for a budget casing that let's me fit a 360cm radiator at least. Preferably ordering from a UK-based site. Any recommendations?

Any idea what the y-fitting at the bottom left is doing for the set up? |

Is deionized water usable in water cooling with biocide? Some people say its same as distilled water (the end product) and some say its different. I couldnt find distilled water near my place so I purchased deionized one from a garage. I HOPE IT WORKS.
Added on October 28, 2010, 10:17 pmCan someone help with this? I read from some places that deionized water is fine but some other places says it will corrode my copper and brass. I already bought the water and I'm waiting to fill up my system. This post has been edited by cheesycake: Oct 28 2010, 10:17 PM |

I'm officially a WC-er now! Using my wc rig. What are usual idle temps (i7 930) for a single cpu loop? I'm getting 30 +-2 degrees. How is that fairing?

Yeah im in UK. I mean, for UK is 30 degrees +- 2 good? My loop is quite short and my pump is at full. I dont know what to expect. haha.
Added on October 30, 2010, 4:48 am15 degrees is outside temp by the way. Room temperature should be 20ish. This post has been edited by cheesycake: Oct 30 2010, 04:48 AM |

Here are 2 pictures. Using Laing D5, Black Ice GT Xtreme, EK Supreme HF Nickel, 1/2 ID tubings, 2x Scythe Kaze Fans.
I'm wondering if there is a downside to the loop being too short, but from what I've read the shorter the loop the better right? Currently Pump > Radiator > Cpu > T Line > Pump. This post has been edited by cheesycake: Oct 30 2010, 05:47 PM |
