you didn't even replied the other thread...that's why i said it here. i quoted your whole post, but still you refuse to acknowledge it. instead, you prefer to say "will be" as not "will be" and go on and on.
I didnt reply???
Again more 'facts' from u. I would be rolling on the floor laughing if not for the office environment im in right now.
Office environment? where? UMW Toyota's office? They pay u 5 figure salary to positively about feed Toyota car/brand & ruined other makes car..no wonder la..hahahaha
Again..before u keep spinning, it is just my 2 cents.
Cheers!
Yes no problem. U are entitled to say what u want. I wont ever tell ppl to keep quiet or go away, etc as everyone is entitled to speak. But i will however correct your assumptions. So no im not with Toyota (as ive said many times in the past). Im with a foreign multinational company (as ive said many times in the past as well). Any other queries?
you request that i quote the whole sentence before determining the meaning of the things you said. i quoted your whole post, & you can still refuse "will be" is not "will be"?
what else can we say?
'i quote your whole post'? Thats your response? What am i to say to that? I dont even understand your English or the relevence of that reply to my earlier post.
U still didnt respond to my earlier reply. Too bad.
You are such an adorable guy. I like your 'facts' so much. Damn, I have done a big mistake owning a forte. I should consider your 'facts' first. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Despatch @ biggest/established foreign multinational company in the world
Nope. Forte is a good car for its specs. But the after sales service and the future resale value which will be its drawbacks.
[WTS]Kia forte 1.6SX 10 months old year 2009 [WTB]Toyota Vios 7.5 years old... offer and quote me best price please
As u already know:
Forte - RM 70K (drop 15% over 10 months) Vios - RM 45K (drop 40% over 7 yrs)
Again, facts dont change. This is based on the 2nd hand car prices advertised today. Might be accurate or might not be accurate. Only way to know: sell your car. HAHA
p/s New 2009 Vios also dropped about the same.

cybermaster - we all kowtow to you - not!!! - you should make money by going to BN and ask them to pay you $$ to troll in the political blogs - this way you get big money and we get 'peace of mind' - want me to intro you to the big shots in BN?
and what u trying to imply? forte 2nd value cannot be judge on the first year resale value. i quote this from your own statement. must wait 4 or 5 years only know.
new dugong also suffer -13K in term of resale value (below 1 year) so?
Im not implying anything. Just answering your question. Or cant u see that?
When i spoke about resale values did i ever refer to the first 3 yrs? Ive always refered in comparison to the 7 yr Vios. When we talk resale value we're talking min 5 years. Anything less than that will depreciate alot even a Proton or a Toyota.
After reading the posts in this forum. Base on my knowleage of human psychology, I can conclude that this cybermaster is really interested in Naza Forte. He knows very well that Forte is overall a much better car in term of specs, fuel comsumption, quality, and price than his toyota Vios. But because of his arrogance and at the same time that he is also lacking of self confidence, he will never admit it. Moreover, by earning a five figure income, his head has grown so big that he can no longer face nor accept critique from other. He felt that you forteans are a bunch of immature kids wasting time and hard earn money and not like him invested in so call properties (I wonder how good he is or may be he get locked up in investment because of poor judgement, therefore can not change car). He will never admit of his weak point, because he does not want anyone to look deep into his heart that he is actually very emotional unstable.
I will never admit it? Read this and then decide if u still wanna try and find fault with me. Many have tried and failed before you.
As i always advise ppl: READ ALL THE POSTS BEFORE COMMENTING
And another thing which was also mentioned many many times before, my wife is on the lookput for the Forte among other cars hence my added interest. So u dont really need some bionic human psychology to know basic facts like this. All u need to do is to READ ALL THE POSTS before embarassing yerself. Now spin away and ask your other supporters to back u up.

I'm quite pissed off reading the argument that is going back and forth. Can we get back to discuss about Kia Forte? Earlier someone has already advised to ignore the troll. Can we just ignore it?
If ure not in a hurry, just wait for the Waja Lancer coming next month and the Hyundai Avante coming early next year. With the Waja Lancer pricing, Hyundai will be very careful in pricing theirs. They wont make the same mistake they did with the Sonata surely. The Forte will still hold its own because on paper its specs are better than the upcoming Waja Lancer.
Hi Cybermaster98, Where did you received the info that the new Avante will be launched in Malaysia early next year? I went to Hyundai showroom in Glenmarie and the SA there blur blur said dunno when coming.....
If it don't launch by mid next year, I will be buying a Forte!
Never ask showrooms when new models are gonna be launched. Most of them will never give realistic info especially if they have a current model which they are trying to push off. Hyundai is trying to push off the current Avante by even offering 0% interest loans plus other goodies. They wont be so aggresive if the Avante is only gonna be launched mid of next year.
But i think either way, its still worth the wait. Hyundai will have to be very competitive in their pricing since the Kia Forte is in the market plus the Waja Lancer is due to be released soon as well.
not sure about others & not to be -ve but mine clocking ~11-13l/100km on the display almost constantly with full time city drive odo 10K i rarely get my car past 100km/h in such condition rpm maintain <4k & overtake cars as i please..i tot fc shud be around this # for majority of us...never did the manual calculation tho for fear it will b much worse bring it for long distance drive u b amaze ~7l/100km off the display
8.3km/L is kinda poor for a 100% city drive. But then again, its a 2.0L with a heavier body so cant really compare with a Vios (13km/L). But highway driving seems quite ok (from the earlier posts): 14.2km/L. But if ure gonna be driving in the city most of the time, then be prepared for a hefty fuel bill.
Hi guy! Just wanna ask some questions regarding fc. I think my 2.0SX fc is on the high side....13-14L/100km, reading from the meter for the past 2 weeks. In the 1st week when I got the car, the reading was even worse, 15.5L/100km! So far, I've done 600++km and mostly city drive with average speed of 40-50km/h. Care to share what's the ideal fc in such driving condition as mine cos' I've read here before some Fortezens manage to achieve 9-10L/100km. Is it normal the fc is high during the 'breaking-in' process for a new car or should I send it to SC? Regards.
At 40-50kmph, i dont think u would have hit your highest gear yet. For most economical drives, u should reach the highest gear as fast as possible. But thats why all cars consume more fuel in start-stop traffic.
Looks like a swelled up version of the current City.... with Honda's new corporate grill as shown in the upcoming new Odessey.
If this is the new Civic, the facelifted Forte will pwn it kao kao, at least in terms of exterior aesthetics at this stage.
If this is the new Civic that would seriously affect Honda sales in Malaysia and worldwide. I really have my doubts that its the new Civic. I dont think Honda is stupid enough to put such an ugly thing on the road.
the spare parts are OK in malaysia....juz only if there are too many accident regard to careless/reckless Forte driver, spare parts will drain out eventually... in my case, all spare parts are available, juz only waiting for 3 parts ....front panel, fog lamp and grill. if not by mistaken, either this saturday will arrived or 3rd november will b in KL...
When we talk about spare parts in Malaysia we are refering to the ease of getting the parts vs the cost of getting it. If im not mistaken your car has been in the workshop for almost a month and yet the parts have not arrived. Plus your cost of repair is high but since its an insurance claim it doesnt bother you. If u have to wait long to obtain spares (doesnt matter if its original Korea or otherwise) it means that spares are not easy to get. When we talk about spare parts we are also refering to (major & minor) wear and tear parts which need to be replaced over the years.
Accident rates are not gonna lower the number of spares available. In fact when u have more cars being condemned, u end up having more 2nd hand spares which in turn lowers the price of the original spares. Why do u think the spares for Proton is so cheap and easily obtainable anywhere?
Anyway, the Forte is still new so spares will be difficult to obtain in the beginning. But if that condition persists it then becomes a continuation of the current scenario about Korean cars.
