QUOTE(RyanHo @ Jul 22 2010, 08:37 PM) i dunno y i miss riera. besides dat, i think we got too many CBs ed. carra, wilson, ayala, agger, skrtel, kyria. it will cause dissatisfaction on bench and even out of lists. carra is good for another 3-5 seasons then he's done. kyria is going out... wayne bridge would be good, coz he's english and he's a decent player, i would think scott parker would be good. signing hyypia as a defensive coach/player would be ideal.. but as a full time player. not so. Added on July 22, 2010, 8:45 pmthe player i miss most: Alonso and Garcia... im hoping Mascherano goes, i dont like his lack of passion and he's constant bad temper. Riera has never really impressed me.... most liverpool players face the problem of consistency. This post has been edited by Mikeshashimi: Jul 22 2010, 08:45 PM

Its really a win-win for both clubs. AC had their fare share with Huntelaar, and i would think Babel would do wonders in the Serie A. While Huntelaar would be perfect for Liverpool i assume. What a pairing upfront that would be for this season.
But still, it isnt anything concrete. So dont get much hopes up now. Unless its official.

i'll be happy if huntelaar does sign but let's hope he's as prolific as when he played for ajax. am glad too that RH saw that the attacking department needs improvement with majority of players signed so far are attacking players so fingers crossed Liverpool will play exciting attacking football in the coming season!

What so nice about Hunterlaar when he failed to shine in two of the three big league? Not so impressive in Serie A and La Liga, no?

wow?? huntelaar now? hmm.. huntelaar is a player who can hold on the ball but we really need to see that. swapping with babel is not a bad deal at all.

Liverpool have accepted an offer from Olympiakos for Albert Riera.
The Mirror says Liverpool have accepted a £4.5million offer for unsettled winger Riera from Olympiakos with the deal likely to be completed today, and Roy Hodgson also confirmed he is ready to offload out of favour Swiss defender Philipp Degen.
The new boss is also hoping to tempt Sami Hyypia back to the club with an offer to become a player-coach at Anfield. Liverpool accept bid for Riera at 4.5 million pounds? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Liverpool include young duo in new Remy bid
23.07.10 | tribalfootball.com READ MORE NEWS ON: Joe Cole, Liverpool
Liverpool are making a player swap offer for Nice striker Loic Remy.
The Mirror says Reds boss Roy Hodgson has offered the French club attacker Nabil El Zhar and midfielder Damien Plessis - both valued at around £700,000 - in a bid to afford £14.3 million-rated Remy.
The Anfield outfit do not have the cash to buy talented Remy outright and are fuming that the Hammers have put more cash on the table for the exciting forward.
The Kop are still counting their cash despite the better news of landing Joe Cole on a free transfer - and Hodgson wants to spend what he has on two new left backs after selling Emiliano Insua and losing Fabio Aurelio.
Liverpool have asked Nice if they would take the player exchanges and have also pleaded to be given more time to come up with the cash, but they are running out of time to have Remy eligible for their Europa League qualifiers. RH seems to a going in the right direction as reports goes. Alot of positive news. I might be saying this too early but he really seems to be doing a good job. Especially if he gives the younger lads more game time. Something i wish rafa would have done more often. Also seems like hes amassing a nice amount of firepower. No matter what people say about joe cole, hes still a decent bit of business. A free transfer of his quality is hard to come by, whether he performs or not is another story. Either way it has proved to be a moral booster of sorts. Gerard and i hope torres and macsh would also soon say they would stay. He might bring in alot for new players, but whos to say those bloody yanks wont pocket it some how. Hes still relatively young and has alot of years left in him. I would love to see him join the ranks of king kenny as one of the most lethal strikers ever to play under the kop, which in my opinion already is.
