I don't know what you ate, nor what you drank, neither do I know what you're smoking, but this has got to be the most ridiculous line up for the 2010/2011 season. Having Joe Hart as a goalkeeper when we've already got José Manuel "Pepe" Reina Páez aka "The Showstopper". There are more fallacies to your suggestion, but I'll refrain from commenting.

IF RH does have that much of 40Million pound,oh how I wished for was Benitez would have continued being the boss.

And yes, too much of Football Manager for you, I believe.

bro..this is for fun bro...and u have to read it slowly... i've stated that we can add players to existing squad...yes we have reina..but who the next keeper after him? cavalieri? he's going out...and we need more english player....which english keeper you think have better performance beside james? RObert Green? i don't think so...joe hart is much better than him...that's out man city want him back...please don't take everything too serious..the premier league is still far away...

Liverpool winning race to sign Cole

Free agent Joe Cole is set to snub Arsenal and Tottenham for a move to Liverpool, according to The Daily Mail.

Cole, who was surprisingly released from Chelsea after seven years at Stamford Bridge, has yet to commit himself to any club despite the new Barclays Premier League season looming.

But if reports are to be believed, the 28-year-old is ready to put pen to paper on a lucrative deal at Anfield.

According to The News of the World, Liverpool new manager Roy Hodgson has offered the England international a staggering £90,000-per-week three-year deal.

Hodgson, who is facing an uphill task in keeping his star players like Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres and Javier Mascherano, is hoping the capture of Cole will assure them of the club's ambitions and persuade them into staying.

Cole's initial preference was to join a Champions League club, which Arsenal and Tottenham can offer, but the prospect of being a senior player at Anfield could well nudge his decision towards Merseyside.

But he has to make his decision known to Hodgson by next week.

how the hell RH have so much wage budget to sign him while rafa dun have?

90k a week for a crock. But think of it from Joe Cole's point of view. He's 28. If he's going to make any good money, now's the time.

I think it's justifiable for Joe Cole's 90k wage...
52 times 3 times 90k and it's only 14 mil... To buy someone of his calibre we nit about 10-15 mil... not to be forgotten the wage we need to pay...

For me is like buying him in numerous installments...

Not if he plays 20 games a season. And with Liverpool's magic doctors, one can only imagine. But great addition to the squad, not to mention his homegrown status.

Come on, i hope this is true. has been a fan of Joe Cole for a long time. Always dreaming that he put on a red shirt. Maybe he would for next season. We may pay him high on wages but he is on free transfer to compensate for bringing one of the best, maybe the best, English wingers.

yeah, his demands might be high, but he is prem proven and english. If he ain't free, we might fork out around 10-15 million for him plus his wages.

should not complain too much if he is willing to join liverpool. Other big clubs fought real hard for him and he is in the department Liverpool needed.
