When I slide it to 300mhz , it temp is still the same , fan speed is still the same.
I think I understand why.
What about voltage setting ?

u can safely slide the GPU clock bck to, say 300MHz & 500MHz for memory.
for voltage, u can put lowest, i think shud b fine.

in comparison, my 4870 is running @ 100/200 @ 1.1vcore.

fan speed, adjust if u like.....

Okay, since I just replaced my PSU, my graphic card still shows some flickering lines before turning the whole screen to green with banding line across (vertically) the screen before crashing.

What might had caused this?

60c idle is all right, important is how bout load?

different bios has different fan speed setting on different load.
dat depends on manufacturer bios release.

maybe it was meant to idle @ 60c.
dat y even wen u downclock, fan speed auto drop.

Got question here. My fren using XFX 5670 n the temperature in idle is 49C. When he play game, it rises to 52C. Is it normal?

Why're you concerning?
This GPU can hold up to 105C.
Even if it's 70C when gaming, it's also considered as ULTRA SAFE. Needless to say it's 52C?

Thx 4 the feedback. Im still new regarding dis issue. I thought it's nt normal. bcuz my fren cant do gaming due the gpu stops responding and recovered (he encountered VPU error). is the psu nt giving enuf juice? he's using 450w cap ayam btw. so changing to better psu will solve the prob? thx again.
