hey all, my dad got a 1990 year toyota hilux surf 2400cc turbo diesel SSR limited (comes with top window), i am wondering can this car fix in a new 2005 year hilux VIGO engine?

and, what is the function of turbo timer?

my dad's car get 400km with rm 50 diesel, on fifth gear cruising at 90km/h.

in the user manual written, ridding at 90km/h consume 1.5 to 1.7 times the fuel compare to 40km/h.

highway cruising best at 80km/h.

LJS, the air tank is for ur air horn?
that's mean after certain time, you need to refill the tank?

i thought air horn got the pump itself?

I got the drifting sound because i really drive like sedan, just at corner, press on fuel pedal and turn steering. My rear tyre i think 10% lost liao bcos of spinning tyre at jucntion.

While for the airtank,i must go fill it after it empty,i seldom horn so long bcos it will casue death to older drivers, and my airtank is quite big so more air is compressed inside(130PSI,i can put until 180 PSI).When empty,i just go petrol station fill it up,but u must know how to modify the connector to fill the air.Actually i can put a air pump there but i can't find so i no install it,I think that the pump cannot pump until so high pressure bcos it is just a small compressor.Unless u put one BIG ENGINE generated Compressor(like those small truck repairing tyre one.
I'm using air hose or fuel hose that made in japan(each feet RM2.50),they tell me to beware when inflate the air tank and dun put until too high pressure then someone else tell me that if the pressure are high sure the hose "tembak"1st bcos it is only hose, but the airtank shouldn't "tembak" 1st.

About the HID,just to remind who want install HID, i bought one set of HID made in Korea RM2000 comes wif H4 Hi-lo beam,my HID now spoilt liao after one years, sometimes can on sometimes cannot. So if u all wan buy HID better buy those more quality but it is really expensive la.It is just my opinion la.

just read the STAR just now,Mitsubishi vehicles can service at Proton Service centre,I think they cannot stay longer malaysia liao, bcos their vehicles are not welcome by malaysian.I see so many showroom and service center close already,so far as i know, showroom at Burma Road,Penang ;Malim,Malacca and service center at Prai,Butterworth and Malim Melaka.

They keep closing their center may be they cannot compete with other company, like their Pajero so expensive and so many years no new model comes out except the Super Exceed(Damn expensive) then Airtrek also expensive while its looking nice,Storm pula, expensive and without airbags,ABS and not large cabin space.

I just calculated my FC for my hilux, it is RM 0.135 per KM which is 8KM per Litre.

I has been tested so many times,it always almost the value.

maybe you drive too fast?

should compare urban (city drive)
and extra urban.

don't drive 150km/h la.. drive below 90km/h.

yours is manual right?

my dad's surf after changing a bit wider tyre, comes out the sound when cornering...
last time is original tyre so cornering doesn't have the sliding sound.

Mitsubishi cars globally are not doing too well. They can't bring in their lancers due to conflict with proton i think.

the plastic spoiler is a deflector
supposed to protect your bonnet from stones, sand, etc..
