I used Yet Plus too and it has been about 3 years since. Those series with normal China driver don't last long, changed many already within the warranty period. Whereas the Urban series that are more expensive comes with Philips driver still going strong with nil claim so far. That's my experience with Yet Plus brand

Hello everyone... i think i have now come to the stage to think about my lighting options. Reading few pages here is mind boggling to me- so many options, so many things to consider.

So i’ll start with a basic one. Any ideas on cool lights/lamp on top of main gate (entrance)? I think it’s quite important coz it is for outdoor use. Unsuitable lamps may attract moths commit suicide (u can see dead moths inside the lamp), be hard to clean or require high maintenance or the lights too dim to do anything for the aesthetics. Any pictures would be great as well

Thanks in advance!

Sifu sifu! I need recommendations for light shops in Klang Valley with a wide selection - specifically ones with architectural/modern lightings.

I'll attach my lighting selection and layout - in the spoiler box below. Feel free to comment on my selection or better yet if you have any recommendations, I'll appreciate it.

Anyone here tried PAK LED downlights?

The package/promotion from Avalon looks interesting (2000 for 30% off all store products - fan, ceiling & wall lights).

Would appreciate it if anyone could provide feedback on that or is it better and cheaper to source the items (fan, ceiling & wall lights) separately?

Hi there, I have browse through your blog and i found your unit is magnificient ! I like how you blend in those furnitures and the color selection. Even without plaster ceiling i think the track light just blend in perfectly. May I ask how much you have spent in the renovation ? Do you have the breakdown cost ? Appreciate your sharing. Thanks !

Hi obelisk,

Have you decided on PAK or another type? I’m also currently looking to decide on lighting.

Thanks

I'll be going with some others as I find it to be a lil expensive because after asking around and checking I think any decent LED or even Energy Saving downlight like Osram, Philip etc would last just as long considering that the standard lifespan is around 2-3 years (depending on usage; does not apply to cap ayam).

Estimate price I found as follow:
Osram 12w - rm29
Philip 12w - rm35
