Akin to Fullmetal Alchemist : Brotherhood, any remake will only be possible after Book 6 & Book 7 is out, i.e. after A Song of Ice & Fire book series is finished.

As far as I know, none of those salty petitions ever change anything in Hollywood. HBO already secured the subscription fees to their services. Will it harm GoT branding, not in the slightest. At the end raging fanboys just the vocal minority. GRRM couldn't be bothered with the whims of petulant fans. The moment the books release, the same butthurt idiots will buy it in a heartbeat.

Final episode expected to suddenly redeem the entire season? Oh my... I think it is going to be a disappointing end.

GoT not going for happy ending
It's gonna be divisive for sure

If one expect a happy ending in GoT, they're watching a wrong show

My ending predict:
Arya tried to Kill Dany, Jon stops her,
Dany go back Mereen, Jon sits on Iron throne, unwillingly
Sansa become Queen in the North

I prefer the bad ending too, because this is what the show it's all about, too unexpected

My prediction:
Three way battle for the throne Dany <> Jon (after realizing he is wrong about Dany) <> Tyrion (thinking Jon is unfit for trusting Dany).

Either Dany or Jon is killed, and ultimately a Lannister... Tyrion gets the throne.

Jon sitting on the Iron Throne... too predictable? hmm.gif

Happy ending = Dany & Jon on the throne
lives happily ever after tongue.gif

anyway, it's likely Jon & Dany will be at odds on what she did
probably there will be another fight, this time the internal clash of northmen against Dany's army
Both side army decimated, Arya sneaked in and killed Danny in all those chaos
Jon left Kingslanding brokenheart and goes north to stay among the wildlings
Tyrion becomes King of the seven kingdom
Highcastle is given to Bronn, as a Lannister always pays his debts
That's the only way Bronn can get Highcastle, the Hand doesn't have the power, nor the existing King/Queen will give it away also
Only way is to either get Bronn killed, or Bronn killed Tyrion for not paying the debt, or Tyrion becomes King, or the writers just forgotten about that part of the plot

Happy ending...
Jon kills Danny then himself, Drogon torch Arya, Bran knife himself with dragon glass to continue NK cycle...

Ned Stark woke up from slumber, all these while just a dream...lol...

If it has a happy ending, then it's not game of thrones!!!

Really hoping to see a twist at the finale episode. So far the plot line for s8 has been somewhat predictable.

Don't expect a major twist at the end, most characters already kicked the bucket

not much can be done with the remaining one

mostly will be just between the remaining 4 main characters: Jon, Dany, Arya & Tyrion

most likely they'll go to the path of mad queen

LOL ... Ned Stark had to be beheaded, that's GoT signature ... but maybe make all the rest a Jacob's Ladder in Ned Stark's mind in the split second before his head was detached from his body. laugh.gif

Dany - gets killed by Arya who was horrified by the devastation of Kings Landing. Arya disguises as Grey Worm after killing him somewhere else so that she can get close to Dany. Drogon can't protect Dany as this happens inside.

Grey Worm - killed by Arya to take his face.

Arya - takes Grey Worm's identity, kills Dany and then leads the Unsullied back to Essos and disappears for good. Perhaps becoming a teacher at the House of Black and White.

Jon - is consumed with grief over the murder of Dany. Decides he still doesn't want the throne and returns to the north to help the not anymore Wildlings since there is no longer a proper wall. Has a proper reunion with Ghost and Tormund.

Sansa - returns to Kings Landing on receiving Varys letter. Sees the destruction and decides there is nothing left. Sansa returns to the North, as Lady of Winterfell, Warden of the North. She relieves Brienne of her oath.

Tyrion - upon the death of Sansa, as Queen's Hand and previously King's Hand, and Protector of Kings Landing @ the Battle of Blackwater, claims the Iron Throne. Becomes King of the Seven Kingdoms. The following become his Small Council:
Ser Davos Seaworth - King's Hand; Bran Stark (having traveled South with Sansa) - Master of Whisperers (hey, who better than someone who knows what you said, will say or have said even before you said it??); Samwell Tarly (summoned to Kings Landing to be Maester there), and some unknown who becomes Master of Coins.

Ser Brienne - remains in Kings Landing. Since her love is dead (i.e. Kingslayer) she decides to commit herself to rebuilding and guarding Kings Landing or the King. Becomes commander of the City Watch or perhaps the Commander of the new Kingsguard.

Bronn - becomes Bronn of House Blackwater, Lord of the Reach, ruler of Highgarden, perhaps become Master of Coins as well. Gets a castle in Highgarden AND a castle in Kings Landing (so gets his two castles). Not impossible since Tywin was King's Hand at the same time holding Casterly Rock.

And no matter what the spoilers say....this is the ending I would have liked from David and D.B.

Do you all agree with Stephen King?

I've loved this last season of GoT, including Dani going bugshit all over King's Landing. There's been a lot of negativity about the windup, but I think it's just because people don't want ANY ending. But you know what they say: All good things...

I just LOL at the people that keep saying this is not a happy ending after S8. We have seen good characters been killed in the earlier season, most notable I think is Ned Stark at S1. Clear it is not a happy ending story. But the S8 plot is terrible. I think the story could be longer, but everything was rush since S7.

Maybe they didn't understand how good was the complexity earlier, and now it was like just an easy story after Jon identity been revealed.

This. Couldn't agree more with your statement.

I think those who are ok with season 8 are those normies and posers who jumped on the hypetrain circa 2016-2017.

"Yer durr it's badass so it's good"....oh pleaseee...

Not really all ... I watched GoT S01E01 on the first week when it was released, just out of curiosity, been watching it ever since every week, including the extras on BD releases, After the Throne in Season 6, etc. ... read the 5 books ... I'm okay with Season 8.

Of course, it could've been better. Seems like the showrunners/writers are tired and wanted to end the show asap, since no more story details from G.R.R. Martin, just outlines; so, they decided to go for spectacles and visuals instead, less plot twists and surprises since S8 is about tying the loose ends ... some storylines are ended with just a brief scene, that's why most fervent fans are disappointed.

All those asking for remake of Season 8, wait lah till the whole A Book of Ice & Fire book series are done; then they might remake the whole TV series with better filming technologies without needing higher budgets. (I suspect that's one of the reasons why S8E3 The Long Night is so dark, no need to refine the CGI details coz not enuf budget oredi, which went to S8E5 The Bells happy.gif).
