Dany burning down the city after saying “mercy is our strength"
Understand she has been driven by emotion and has taken rash decisions before... but wth, killing innocent women and children?
I think if GRRM completed the books, there would have been a tonne more drama/turn of events that led to Danny being this way... not just some bells triggering here.
I read that D&D mentioned she acted that way "spontaneously"

The thing is GRRM book has over a thousand pages to flesh out all the subtlety and intricacies. On film or tv is a totally different ballgame altogether. I do believe his book will be on similar trajectory path of the show but it's a 4 corner fight. Cersei vs NK vs Euron Greyjoy vs Daenerys. Euron is a totally different type of villain from the tv.

Also, another possible "Targaryen Prince" in the Golden Company. Daenerys has yet to embark her conquest in Westeros in terms of where the book stands.
NK on the TV has shades of Euron from the book because of all the advantages he has over the Dragons.
I have no issue with Danny turning but not cool with how it is being portrayed. Jamie and Tyrion is a betrayal of their former character arcs. Arya's plot armour is too ridiculous at this point.
Ultimately they need more episodes for more coherent character development. For all I know GRRM might beta testing his book ending in conjunction with the show.
