QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Aug 23 2010, 05:53 PM) @seech, Don't think DiGi will be restocking on 3GS. You could always check if it's available; they may have a couple of units; just not plenty to start advertising Yeah. Didn't think so either. Now got problem. I thought the digi deals for the 3GS were pretty good. I'm sure the iPhone4 would be a lot more expensive. Hmm.... 32gb or iphone4? Decisions.... Decisions...

How so? the 3G and 3GS have been kep relativelt teh same price and judging by the singaporean price it'll be a Rm400-500 discount on the RRP of the iPhone 4.

Good point. I haven't actually calculated the total cost of the iphone and I'm pretty sure the price of the iphone4 itself would not be that far off the existing 3gs (I assume Apple would have a minimum RRP for the telcos) but if you get it with the plan fr digi, it seems like a pretty good deal as their original RM138 plan has been slashed to RM90. I'm assuming that when the iphone4 comes out their plans would revert back to the original price.

Just saw iPhone 3gs offered by DiGi can be purchase without binding any contract. But you have to suscribe to Digi Smart Plan 68 for 3GB. The phone RRP still no different. For my opinion, not very worth as iPhone 4 will be out around the corner...

still bad considering the iphone 4 has been launched and in a few days the same price u get for the 3gs would be the same as iphone 4.

ya... my point is... rebate rm25/mth still not worth... as u have to pay one full lump sum of RRP for the 3GS with cash or single credit card payment WITHOUT any discount on the phone itself... if really wan clear stock, deduct the RRP of 3GS will be the way...

I think apple does not allow massive discounting on the RRP. That's why all of the iphone prices don't fall by very much. That's why digi started to discount their plans instead.

Hmm... i do understand Apple will try control the market price of iPhone... guess what... maybe those leftover stock of iPhone 3GS 16GB and 32GB cannot be sell anymore under Digi and Maxis once iPhone 4 arrive... perhaps, maybe this is the reason why Maxis and Digi still haven't launch the iPhone 4... heard the current Digi offer for iPhone 3GS will last until 30 sept... hmm...

We all should buy 3Gs now to clear the stock & give way for iPhone 4 arrive earlier. Just wait if there is any Durian Runtuh offer.... This post has been edited by danieloo: Aug 26 2010, 12:05 AM
