If i'm not mistaken you have connect the hdmi cable to TV, that's why the TV got sound, optical cable connection between media player and your pioneer amp.... am I right....?

i m surprised there is no "pass thru" option in pohd3...
this "raw" and "lcpm" were the old options on older models/firmwares.
anyway, u should set it to "raw". lcpm is used for some low grade audio files.
think u set everything right... shud work.
did u push that right button (dvd, cd1, cd2..) on the amp that will deliver audio from that optical option? tongue.gif

a quick question here if anyone has done it... for old unit, i.e. pohd1, is it easy to replace the internal hdd by yrself? is the max size 1.5 or 2tb?
just preparing for the eventuality my hdd will fail after a few years now. thanks!

bro. how broke is the remote? I also had a broken remote, i thought so.
then i googled the entire universe but i cant get.

so i opened the remote controll and found some dirt near the battery area.
just clean the chipboard. and it can function very well already.

try it. open the remote and clean the entire motherboard especially near connection areas with the goldish color dirt.

Sad to say, mine was in a couple of pieces. Even the spring holding the battery came off :-(

Is my only option to buy a new set. I love my A.C ryan........
