... yr tv hdmi slot was not in best shape, it happens. Nope, I'm cocksure, there's nothing wrong in that department.
... or yr hdmi cable is defective - these cables last 2-3 yrs, can corrupt quickly too. I still use that cable now for my Astro Beyond at another TV..nothing wrong so far.
try the pohd on another tv with a new cable, u will hv the firm answer. Already tried. Its confirmed there's a circuitry defect.
firmware... slow, etc... i suspect u did not turn off the file scanning feature. File scanning always turned off. I always reconfigure at minimal features, only the ones essential to me..as far as I can remember.
