You can google "DTS vs Dolby", it show you a lot of articles. There are many factors; bit rate, compression level etc. Some say DTS better and some say Dolby better.

But for me, I prefer to select DTS if there are 2 codec in same movie or game. I feel more surround effect compared to Dolby. Dolby a bit soft, I need to raise up few volume level in order to get same "satisfaction" as DTS.

i just bot mini HD2, but i cannot delete files from mini HD2, i press edit button and no menu come out. anyone know how to fix?

think it's "select" or "confirm" button.

mini2 now price drop a lot. SRP is RM399 now. Small and easy to carry. come with Muzee, u can watch MV streaming frm net, and documentary also. Quite stable now.

May i know what is Muzee?

passthrough dts core only? IMO, that means it cannot fully bitstream the complete HD audio. just pass through the basic DTS audio only.

That means if my amplifier have DTS & DTS 5.1 or 7.1 also no use?

even for my mini, the avr display lights up to show dtshdma or dolby truehd if right file is played. the ears can tell too.
however, for old pohd, the avr just show dts/dolby with same file played.

other than veolo, you get limited internet media access.
built in menu for youtube, picassa, mediafly, weather, yahoofinance, radio, etc.
can watch news, documentaries, short reports, etc. not the tv shows you have in mind.
the buffering is quick fast.

veolo apparently can acccess a lot more, incl some tv shows.
check back some of the posts made by boxbuilder.

Yesterday just buy Mini 2 from Digital Mall. Need take more time to do setup. Any setting must do 1st?

Bought mini2 from ALLIT ... took home, doesn't work, cant switch on at all !!!

Alamak ... could be power adaptor ... could be box ... sigh.. have to exchange.

Until now AC Ryan team not yet reply my message. I facing some video setup. I using crt 29" but when i on the display i can't see whole screen display. Left & right side already miss out like enlarge already. Anyone can help................
