Recently i have update to firmware ver 071.004, i found that the battery does not last longer. I can use the battery at least 2 days before charging, and now seems that i have to charge everyday. Is the battery problem ? The phone just purchase 3 months back. Pls advise.

Hi guys. I'm planning to buy the original white faceplate for my black E72. Nokia quoated me RM250, as mine is already out of warranty last month.

Is it worth? The thing I hate about non-original faceplate is their keypad. It feels suck. I bought 2 sets already.

Model: E72-1
Type: RM-530

Is it worth the update? Otherwise too troublesome send to shop to update for me.

I tried update myself, unfortunately, all method I tried failed, I'm willing to pay the shop to do it.

Is the latest version good enough with lots improvement. What's the latest version?

have you tried OTA update via *#0000#? Whats the reason it canot be updated through PC suite or OTA?

So far new version works good for me. A little smoother.
New version released surely got pros and cons. Some have reported bugs, but so far mine all ok.

But my phone is having the sms alert bug even for previous versions. After sometime, msg that comes in wouldnt have any tone or vibrate. Weird.

Tried OTA or OVI Software or Software updater also.
Quite sometime already tried, I forgot exactly what error is it.
It is like it keep waiting very long time waiting it to respond, even wait for 1 hour also no respond, like hang already. All 3 method also same. I suspect my firmware version got problem using Updates of Firmware in the first place.

How much those phone shop Charge for Updating to latest software ?
Any Shop can do ? or recommend to go certain branded shop one ?

suddenly my speaker went kaput......already check by trying to play mp3 files and changes to other profile......anyone can give me an estimate cost to replace the speaker?

I have a prob wif my phone, the prob is my phone memory is full and I always get the message "Memory full. Delete or move some data from C: Phone memory."

I have remove the browser cache, but still have a lot of memory used. when I see more detail on my phone memory, it is widely used in a total of 215MB OTHERS. how can I clear more space in my phone memory?

i just updated the firmware 081.003 . ... the battery drains like hell . after fully recharge , it will drain overnight. but during day it seems ok . damn .

How u update ? Using Nokia Suites ? or bring to shop do it ?

just type *#0000# then go to Options> Check for updates

just be sure to connect to wifi first.. or it will connect to 3G connection and drain your phone credit..

i've google how to disable camera shutter sound and auto flash light. but all of it didnt work on my E72...someone please help..thanks.

but my phone is due for replacement already. nothing's wrong with the phone, but this phone is slow for my need. going android route this time.. my E72 will be missed

haha yeah its a tough phone, wanted to change to iphone arleady, but i download the whatsapp, so its still surviving.. just that if u dont hve data plan it keeps connecting.. for now its either galaxys2 or ip4s for me..

yeah the whatsapp can't be disconnected huh? luckily I'm using unlimited broadband from celcom.

I've been thinking to replace my E72 with Moto Atrix or Razr. My main concern is durability and battery life. Atrix catch my interest since it has 1930mah battery capacity couple with otterbox defender series the phone is bullet proof already Was thinking to get the Razr but looks fragile. But actually Nokia still in my heart. Wait for them to use Windows 8

for all E72 user. Pls undate ur firmware to latest version and then use button reset. It wil truely reset ur phone to original.(if any problem need to do hard reset pls use button reset) this can solve the problem of auto on off for E72. Wit firmware v81 update and button reset. Now my phone rock and very smooth and very fast.

I realise my ovi map is faster then other GPS device.

for battery problem, make sure u close all ur program after use. Especially those use internet connection.

For whatsapp can not close problem. U can install NetQin M.guard to close it, and this app its very usefull to clear and close app for our phone. For me this is a must app:)
