-> budget: 200-400rm+
-> listen to most kind of music
-> prefer something comfortable
-> dun want in-ear headphone
-> dun mind if its open or not

I like senn hd238, very comfy yet sq is quite horrible (can b improved wid amp. too bad i dun hv one)

iv heard some ppl found their ears will be very hot after several hours of using akg.

n another thing i prefer something that gives clear/natural sound (& no bloatd bass, & a single cord so it wont get tangled up)

I'm looking for in-ear portable earphone, budget less than RM300. Currently the model in mind is Sennheiser CX300-II Precision. Can you guys recommend any other models/brands (Denon, Shure... ) within the budget? I going to pair it with my iPhone. Prefer to have bass enhanced.

For me I don't like SR60i and SR80i, probably incompatible with my ear canal's shape, the treble is harsh. But I like the old SR60 and the MS1i a lot.

unluckily,all of d brand dat u state r quite bad in terms of SQ.
d only earphone dat u can hope for is Creative EP630 (s u state there u want an earphone frm a popular cmpanies).

try look at d garage sale 4 Hippo Pearl or Hippo Epic (sum sellers sell it below 100).they sure beat all those brand dat u state in ur post.

ic, maybe im not too demanding i guess, cos i was happy using Sony ED-12LP until it broke

i do have d Creative EP630, but i prefer d Sony 1 as i felt Creative's bass a tad too deep for my liking

All audiophiles, I'm thinking of getting a earphone for outdoor use, would like some recommendations, including brand/model/price estimate.

Type of use: Outdoor/public transport. need abit of environment awareness.

Music used: More on Jazz, Classical, Light music/songs, & occationally Rock/Pop. More towards Neutral & Bright. Prefer SQ over Bass.

Fitting: Comfortable (small ears), no need frequent change on buds/cover, don't know normal type or insertion type better.

Appearance: Not need too fancy. Look as normal as possible.

Budget: rm300-rm1k. Which ever suits.

So far people recommend Etymotics/Ultimate Ear/Shure/Audio Technica/Seinheiser, other brands would also do as long as they are suitable.

Am trying to zoom in the brands & types of earphone before i go test them out. And since it's outdoor use i don't need top of the line models.
