how cruel u guys are..leaving us to wait for maxis or digi..zzzzzz...
congrats on getting it...its a phone nice enough to me
signal & scratch problem - lol, guys, if u r worry bout dat, just get other phone..i think most iphone user will get screen protection & pouch or sumthing to protect even if there's no weakness such as these few happened even if its 2G, 3G or 3GS..
come to think of, this is the 1st phone i'm really crazy about my whole life since i'm 15 & dats 15 years ago when my 1st phone is NEC Primero

QUOTE(nimrod323 @ Jun 27 2010, 07:32 PM) didnt the old iphone 3GS back scratch easily as well? any phone will scratch lah bro anyways my solution is simple, powersupport for front and back + bumpers, enuff d Pretty good idea there. I think a matte finished back is gonna be nice hehehe... but I prefer a glossy front though. I hope we can mix and match. Has powersupport released such a product?

QUOTE(HW-Racer @ Jun 27 2010, 05:11 PM) yes...went to maxis centre today...was told that sitll the same OS ...got to upgrade it at the same time... just ask the technician on duty to upgrade... (but he told me is better to get 3gs...he showed me the iphone 4 spec...and make comparison...) If I were them, I would do the same thing. After all, I have to clear my inventory before stocking up with the new model lest when the latter comes, I can't dispose off the older one.

You've cleared my doubt. I'm more confident of cutting my own sim card now if Maxis is still so slow. @ZeneticX Isn't the screen still 3.5 inch? It is kind a bug or something with hardware error. Try restore your iphone and if there is error 29, then your hardware could be the source of problem.

Ever since I updated my i3GS to iOS4, I have encountered problems connecting to Digi 3G connection. I tried resetting the network configuration and even restored my i3GS, but the problem still persists. Anyone here has any solutions for me?=)

I had this issue even before upgrading to iOS4 (Even after upgrading I'm still having the same issue) so I don't think it is related to iOS4. Sometimes I'll see my full bar dropped to NOTHING then suddenly my 3g icon decided to appear again and this happens almost every 30 minutes to 1 hour. Sometimes I have to do like what you did (Go into flight mode n out) Few of my friends using other phones are having the same issue as well so I think you should log a complain to Maxis about this and see what they can do about it. (I doubt they can do anything ) I guess more people complaining might have "Some" impact (even though they usually don't care) but give it a try anyway. the retina display really really superb.....u don't want to see ur previous iphone after that(just kidding)....the icon the font were so crisp...really sharp...the sound maybe upgrade 10% than previous iphone...much much better while holding the phone..and for face time...not tested yet..i will upload the details of the iphone 4 later....but the signal are better than before...in my office normally there was no services at all...but with iphone 4...the signal can be up to 3 bars...that is the significant that i needed most on an iphone...better reception at low reception area....but need to hold the phone properly or u will loose the signal like iphone 4 users complaint about.
