Hi Benny.I'm running on Miri ron n android 2.2 fyoyo l.everything is ok n the prb I face is difficulties on on back the screen as it does not respond or takes almost 7 sec to open. Also the the battle life.which is common right? Please share ur view.thanks

Added on August 20, 2010, 11:48 amWhich android version ? The homescreen swipes across all should be immediate - not even 1 sec. Battery life is poorer than WM , I guessestimate 10 % not issue for me as I have 3 batteries !!
Before you install your Window rom, did you do a TASK 29 - this usually helps a lot to remove all hidden partition files and give you a 100% clean partition to start flash new roms. Also the SD card, did you format first using the SD program I recommended

Now in the android rom, like xander question there no ringtone. read thru as guide also can't figure out what to do... any easiest way to had the phone ring when incoming call...thank

actually you may use your exisitng ringtones or any mp3 format as your RT.

1. enabling your marketplace
2. go to your marketplace download Astor file explorer (FREE)
3. browse your ringtone using the Astro files explorer, tab and hold your favourite tone while a popup will ask - use as ringtone.

All ringtones and notifications are in :

sdcard/media/audio/alarms or music or notifications or ringtones

You can use any file explorer ( just download from market , most are free - eg Astro File Manager is the most popular one) to create these folders if not present. Execute the program - it works just like file explorer in windows. Use the edit tab to create /move/delete folders accordingly as needed. Copy into the ringtones folder any MP3 files you need as ringtone

been living wif android for a while...

have any1 have this problem before?

after call hang up.. screen become not responding for a few sec.. after tat only respond

that is what always happening to me. Not only after call but under a lot of circumstances. playing game/facebook/browsing the net/etc etc all of a sudden the screen stop functioning.

thought it was due to my class 2 memory card, the phone couldnt read the data fast enough?

thanks bro, ive format my card using the software you recommend and the android seems goes smooth now.

Task29 does not remove the bootscreen.

i can live with the different bootscreen as long the performance is stable.

Android SDK is needed to sync with pc.

But my HD2 doesnt seem to sync though I have installed the SDK thing

really no one facing this problem? overall i not really like the quality of the video recording.already try most of the trick in the xda forum but not really help much.

I don't really use video recording but just tried out to record in H.264 and play it back with no issue.

too bad..my one never able to playback at all...with stock and energy rom also cant..

HD2 running WM6.5 can't be matched at the moment.

Video recording and playback is perfect and very smooth on following roms I tested: FroyoStone Sense Ver 1.0, Matt FroyoSense 1.5, Darkstone HD2Froyo v2.1, shubcraft 1.4c

I am in need to claim warranty for my screen.

a few spots of my screen display brighter white color than the others.
