I used it for my TynII last time. It will not work for the newer 6.1 and above devices - have tried it on htc Touch Pro, Touch Pro 2 and htc HD

The APN settings is just to be used when the GPRS/3g data services is needed. It is just a data setting. Infact most telcos nowadays leave user name/password blank - less hassle for ueer to setup. Just need to know APN code will do. The user name/password is associated with the telco not phone user

I was using ver 3.0 - works very well ; anyway no harm upgrading to this. Before this, I copy the dual cab exe file to Windows/Programs and use HComber create a icon for it and put a shortlink on homescreen

NO, not necessary . But I know now the Windows build will affect it. I read so much about how Matt 1.5 was equally excellent, I decided to try it. On the card, I deleted all the files in the Android folder . I copied over Matt 1.5 files. I install the Android built - it was OK actually don't find much difference with my earlier Freystone. Then I noticed when I launch the Android boot after a reset, when the HTC logo was shown, the whole screen went blank. Just cannot reboot into Android. I tried again - same scenario. Then I reinstall the dual cab boot - it was OK and reboot successful.

To experiment further, I formatted the card and redo. Same old issues - cannot reboot , only a blank screen. Reinstall the dual cab then was OK.

Next step, I delete all the files in the Android folder, copied back the Froystone files - NO such issues. Every reboot was successful and the Android folder always intact.

So I concluded the Windows rom affects it as in both cases I was using the same Miri rom

Enough of experimenting, I am keeping the Freystone build

I thought digi wont charge a cent even if you exceeded monthly quota? They will only throttle your speed.

2.08HSPL

2.08.0000 is NOT the HSPL

After installing check that you got 2.08 HSPL in the tricolour screen before flashing radio/rom just to be safe

With htc messaging is default htc where the SMS is a separate screen, I don't like it and I prefer no htc messaging where the SMS is another folder in the mail application.
I find that no htc messaging the SMS performance is much faster

Good or not depends on your needs = what you want in the rom. Miri is one of the better developers - I have ried his roms several times. Other excellent cooks are Energy, Dutty, Topix, Laurentius etc. Each rom cook has develop their roms to meet different needs - you should compare all their features. In this rom Miri had team up with Elegancia who has provided a new graphical enhanced interface - some like it ; as for me I find it horrible

Infact you should read all the user comments about this rom and you will have a better idea - see their positive and negative comments. If you can accept the negative then go ahead. Some guys negative opinion is not necessary negative for others
