benny, so you all have to delete the android folder every softreset??
NO, not necessary . But I know now the Windows build will affect it. I read so much about how Matt 1.5 was equally excellent, I decided to try it. On the card, I deleted all the files in the Android folder . I copied over Matt 1.5 files. I install the Android built - it was OK actually don't find much difference with my earlier Freystone. Then I noticed when I launch the Android boot after a reset, when the HTC logo was shown, the whole screen went blank. Just cannot reboot into Android. I tried again - same scenario. Then I reinstall the dual cab boot - it was OK and reboot successful.
To experiment further, I formatted the card and redo. Same old issues - cannot reboot , only a blank screen. Reinstall the dual cab then was OK.
Next step, I delete all the files in the Android folder, copied back the Froystone files - NO such issues. Every reboot was successful and the Android folder always intact.
So I concluded the Windows rom affects it as in both cases I was using the same Miri rom
Enough of experimenting, I am keeping the Freystone build
