is it impossible to warranty it in htc malaysia?

i am thinking to warranty it here with a small service charge.

Guess I need to find someone that can recover back my data.. Very important.... I dont know what happened to the SD card, suddenly say need to format to use it

next time try using MyPhone and sycn all your photos text message..etc to your Myphone live account.

Haihz, my previous SD card got prob, so go buy this "expensive" SanDisk... still got prob...

No choice anymore, format the SD Card wont work, its not detected anymore.Need to send for replacement.. stupid SanDisk

whats your capacity? beeen using a 16gb for 2 years so far so good!

I have read on xda before that HD2 seems to have issue with Sandisk SD card. But i doubt anyone can actually prove it. There seem to be more complain about HD2 corrupting Sandisk compared to other brands (kingston, transcend, etc.)

So my advise is try another brand and always keep a backup of your files.

Anyone here know where can i get garmin xt installed on the hd2? a shop or from a person perhaps?

NO need. Try to use this software to reformat when windows format cannot do it. This sia powerful tool - I recommend it to all those who especially wants to try Android. It saves 2 of my old SanDisk cards - which cannot be read and format by both Mac and Windows:

Plenty of shops in LowYat offering this - these guys blazenly put up poster to do it. But you know all this is crack software

Just sent in to HTC Service centre at Plaza Berjaya. Depending on the staff who service you , it could be free or most you pay a service charge of about RM60

my hd2 got serious overheating problem.

only last for 10 to 20 minute especially if i am playing games or wifi internet.

please suggest where i can sent my phone for repair?
and please not htc service centre unless no choice.

HTC Service center is the best - why you wish to go to others ?

If you bought it from SIS - go back to seller to claim warranty - as SIS is 2 year warranty . All sets in Msia warranty will still be valid as launch was in Dec 2009 and the first batch warranty expiring only Dec 2011. Even AP sets by Msian dealers carry a 18 month warranty - so is still applicable. However if yours is bought from overseas - you have to pay a service fee to HTC to process and hope they can replace whatever parts free for you

Before that check your battery - are you using original ? Sometimes cheap generic batteries will have this problem - I faced before . Once i bought a RM30 battery from ebay ( original RM150) ; after a few months the HD2 was hot averaging 38 to 45 C. After I replace with the original battery it was OK

Im having a hard time finding a 3.14.707.1 ROM...

Cause most of em are 3.14.707.3..

What's the difference between this two version? Should't .3 be newer than .1
