Your CGPA will be jacked up a little bit. If say your total credits to take for graduation is 100 before, after you retook a 2 credits subject, the total credits for you now is 102. If you perform better, then your CGPA will be jacked up. So that your C- would not affect your final CGPA that much. But to be fair to others that performed well, your CPA for that semester still will be inclusive of C-, thus it remains same.

At least that's my take. Heh.

C can be remedied. Just approach your lecturer and get on your knees, beg them to fail you It SHOULD be more easier than to beg for a raise in grades, logically speaking.

i've just got a clarification from the administrators.

when u fail and would have to UM the subject, ur new grades will replace the old one. the old credits will be void and replaced by the new ones as well.

meaning, if ur total credit requirement for the course is 100credits, and u repeated 6 credits, u will still graduate with 100credits, not 106.

UG is slightly different. the person i asked was not very sure about the rules about UG bcoz hardly anyone ever requested for it during her experience working in my faculty for over 16years. but she promised to check it for me.

how only can be viable for UM?

anybody using YTL's YES 4G in campus? how's the performance like? how's the service around taman u or around it?

With two towers erected for YES, the special modem required to use their services, and the pricey subscription fee, it should be safe to say that its gonna be breathtakingly fast with less subscribers hogging up bandwidth. Though i'd stick to my celcom BB

well, if only people would stop hogging UTM's internet line. i just spoke with a CICT guy, he said they had to reduce the bandwith for UTM during peak hours to 10mbps for the entire university. 10mbps for 10,000 users!

at night it's open up to 25mbps, but most of it are used for either downloading or p2p via hacks/proxy. so it's very clear what UTM students use their internet for .

lol,10mbps for 10k users,im using 10mbps at home and i wished i had more!!
