that's why UTM have been lobbying YTL to open 4G service quickly. so that those yg mengada2 asik nak download can take their business elsewhere.

will that even change anything?? i doubt they will pay for a service when there is one thats works freely for them to abuse! One excuse will be takde wang,but suprisingly hp,laptop all canggih-canggih

they will, as when 4G goes online, all p2p ports will be closed. then people would have to resort to paid file sharing services, which will also be capped heavily.

ouch! drastic action but at least it ll make it easier for ppl who actually use the net for non-download related things to use! Pity all those kaki download!

btw, i went to the YES launching today. basically UTM's full 4G service will begin in january as the school starts. right now they've already installed 4 stations (or whatever they call it) just to serve UTM's needs. UTM and YTL now have a partnership, thanks to our VC who's i'm sure a pretty massive downloader himself . tak pun kaki youtube.

YES is currently not sold outside lembah klang due to lesser coverage than the competitors. but they will open a shop in arked meranti which will be operational before the school starts. in addition to that, UTM students will get free registration (normal RM50) and get free 300mb bandwith. so all u need to spend is RM99 (for the dongle which comes with RM100 worth of credits plus the extra 300mb). pretty okay deal, since last friday i was offered RM179 for the dongle plus registration without the extra 300mb.

i'm gonna wait for YES' staff offers pulak. i heard they're gonna launch an android service, but couldnt find out the details.

so if i wan to UM my B- gred, possible or not? Because i want something like i retake the subject and the outcome of that subject will totally replace the B- gred without affecting credit hours. ....

Or should i beg my lecturer to fail me?

i really have a personal vendetta against those free downlaoders....
then ngada2 in FB say download speed very fast and download movie all take few minutes only.

how much can we rely on the 'display list' result? Is it gonna change after the meeting?

of course u can trust display list, but dont hope too much the grade will change drastically. A- to A or upgrading 1 grade might gonna happen but B+ to A only happen in certain case. most cases, final result = display list

i didn't really hope for upgrading. just concern about downgrading. so scary..already 'quite' happy looking at the display list, then when the official result comes..aiyoo

downgrading dont normally happen.

most of the time they just put the lower grade in for senarai tampal, then upgrade if necessary. if not then u stay with that grade lah.

the common practice is that, the school can change anything for the benefit of the student without their knowledge/consent, but cant do any change that would disadvantage the student. that's common practice, not absolute.

during my 1st year, had the highest upgrade, along with other coursemates too. Was for C Prog.

how much pointer we get kicked out, i mean KG? below 1.70?

get below 2.00 for 3 semesters can get u kicked out.

if u get below 2.00 in ur 1st year, can get u kicked out too.

below 2.0 in 1st sem?? 2.0, r u sure? not 1.7?

would it bother you? shouldn't it bother u even more if u <3.0 or 2.5?
