You can earn money even if you still a student. There are a lot of ways to make $ nowadays.

Anyway, I guess it's still ok to receive froyo at the end of the year, rather than not getting any update at all. I guess moto was very busy with both droid x and droid 2 and only now they have time to focus on other phones.

The closest you can do is to set your facebook sync settings to "Sync with existing contacts". This way, facebook only syncs to the friends you have created contacts for in your Contact Book.

if ur fren in fb did use their hp no in fb, then u can see it

i think he askin about can select fren when sync without auto sync all his frenlist on fb...as far as i know..u can't do that unless..sync wit existin contact

I'm having a problem whereby the GMail update is not consistent. Sometimes I get updates very quick, but sometimes (like NOW), I got no updates at all. I open my GMail account on my laptop, wahliao.... more than 30 mails unopened....!

How ah? Anyone got any idea what is going on? How to solve?

How to check update frequency setting? But I never changed any setting for my GMail account on the Milestone at all....

If I press "Refresh" everytime I open the GMail account, it kinda defeat the purpose of having a notification system, right?

I believe the Sync button is not selected.

Maybe you can try to add the "Power button" widget on your screen (long press on the screen & a list of widget will appear, scroll & select the Power button widget".

From the screen, select the "sync" button & let it on all the time. Your phone will be able to sync with Gmail & update you when got new email.

The sync function for my gmail account is switched on all the time. the widget you mentioned is a shortcut to the sync setting found in Accounts & Sync Settings. I had this turned on since day one I got the phone. the weird thing is that it was doing very well initially, but now seems not to be doing it anymore (unless I press refresh in GMail). Annoying... to say the least.

Hi all, im a Magic user, but really need to get a phone with QWERTY keypad, milestone seams very intresting

i like to know about few things about this phone,

1) I understand that it will have some slowdown sometimes, how bad is it? Hows the performance on 3d games like rging thunder 2?
2) Hows the battery life of this phone?
3) Whats the market price for used set fot this phone?

1)i overclock it...play NFS Shift on ms smoth as butter
2)lite use-a day; heavy use-2 battery a day
3)around 1k-1.2k

not saying student not using smartphone juz smartphone is not affortable by many student...
and i think tat standard 6 student either have a rich dad or get it from someone...
