QUOTE(junshern222 @ Oct 28 2010, 08:28 PM) Hi guys, another Milestone user here.I looked back the old pages and find out someone had the problem Im having now-The callibration problem when charging. I just bought this phone last week, warranty by PDA gadgets and today when I charge my phone,I cant use the phone properly, seems like the callibration go wrong.Once I unplug the charger,it returns to normal.I tried plugging the charger but without the switch on,it works as usual but once switch on the power, problem comes again. So is that means that I cant use the phone when Im charging it? This is due to ur wall plug not properly grounded. if u touch the metal frame on your phone you can feel tiny tiny electrical shock. and the screen is affected by the charge because it is capacitive. try using other wall outlet that is properly grounded or a 3 pin USB charger

QUOTE(junkieG @ Oct 28 2010, 01:49 PM) agreed regarding the battery drain faster then the official 2.1 i just downclock it back to 550Mhz from 900Mhz on the fly Regarding laggyness, I just overclock it back to 900 when I need it eg. browsing flv content. Another thing that I believe it may caused due to microsd card. im using class4 8gb.... time to upgrade microsd maybe? I tried the CM6 Milestone mod(build 0.03-10.10.21b, latest build is 0.03-10.10.27 which I haven't try yet), and I can say that it is soooooo much faster than the GOT Froyo. Sticking with CM6 for now, love the amount of additional stuff in it. Running at stock speed

QUOTE(scpt @ Oct 27 2010, 03:21 PM) Guys, those who are using GOT's Froyo, do u have a problem in Battery usage where it only display: Phone idle, Cell standby, Wifi & Display. Not even a single app is listed Latest MS owner list updated! Any proud owners whose name is not there please let me know so I can update it This is common in Froyo, my friend who is using the Nexus one also the same as this.

MS rm 13xx compare to N8 rm16xx. A digicam with xenon cost less than N8 e.g Sony DSC W1 also using 1/1.83" sensor but got optical zoom. Last time all Nokia N series cost at least rm3000 when launch N93, N95 but now thanks to Android and aipon, N8 has to sell at rm 16xx. lolz. Plus milestone slimmer looks more modern.

despite milestone being a 1 year old phone, i am pretty satisfied with it. Android is constantly (maybe not that constant) updated, with the number of apps growing every day. Every day, i can find new stuff to tweak and play with.
The Symbian interface simple cannot match iOS and Android, it feels so dated, so last decade

Android and iOS was built for touch screen from ground up.

N8 only nice in its camera, and nothing else in terms of possibilities, Android has more!
you can buy N8, as a camera only without putting SIM card in it, but if you willing to spend Rm1.4k for a camera without optical zoom
