Added on August 4, 2010, 11:47 pmyes, it just sitting and grrr. it make alot of"chocolate cake" a day. very smelly.
The more yer 've to acclimatise them to more human interaction and affection.
Start with feeding them while being handled with your fingers from outside the cage (long vege / grass food), their greedy appetite will eventually let them stand up to smell and start biting.
Once they have an idea of you [human] will bring food and feed them, the "wheek wheek wheek" sound will develop, meaning being happy, and 'feed me feeding time', most of the time specially meant for humans...
Have your sound, scent, and presence associated with the food, slowly introduce to them.
Now you put them on your palm, facing inwards to you.
Feed them their favourite food (small fruit slices, grass, or finger food like vege), while they get used munching on your palm.
After 2nd day, they'll start greeting you exactly the time of your feeding hour - just let them know your arrival when you approach their habitat area, to avoid startling them.

And, to avoid smelly, keep their droppings dry (best fertilizer), while letting other liquids further sink and be channeled away. No liquid, no smell.

As for bathing, slowly introduce them to warm water in a tub.
Let them run around in a big tub with water just their feet length (an inch).
Later, put them in a tall enough pale (tong) with warm water, like sauna. this time water level high enough, while the piggies will stand up to the sides. Never leave supervision.
Take them out, give them their good shampoo (within 30 - 60 seconds), scrub the nails too.
Avoid any water to the Nose and Ears area, simply use cloth to wipe and clean them (i.e. ear wax).
Put them back into the hot water tub, they should be enjoying it, if not, the 2nd time.
Recommended to wash them before noon time, pick a hot sunny day.
You can later tower dry them, leave them to munch on the grass land, better if in groups.
They should dry themselves within 2 hours while grinding grass, which u'll find their fur have become all dried standing, making them look PUFFY and Round at best!
