For its price tag i totally agree one of the cheapest and hottest touchscreen phone in the market. I love my Nokia 5800XM speakers especially.

agreed with that...i love it for the abundance of apps, games and its sound quality....oh and not forgetting, its has a good reputation in terms of not giving problems.

you won't regret for what you paid for
but sure you will need a long way learning how to harvest the most out from the phone

this is the reason why i sell and buy this phone for 3 times, other phone with better processor also cannot math the playback smoothness on my 5800...

For its price tag its a really nice phone only problem must convert the video. =.=

Another nokia phone that can play video without converting and no lagness is Nokia n900 but u pay premium price for it

This is true, except for some videos with fast action scene then it will stutter abit, other than that 10/10 for video playback

Aspire is poisoning us to get a N900 again.... but i might get an android for my next device...

Some1 help me please. My music player cant work anymore. Problem is that, whenever I click on the song in order to play it, it says "File Corrupted", or I press on the Artists, it says " System error" . What is happening?

Did you just force removed your memory card? there might be a possibility that your memory card is corrupted.

I didn't force remove my memory card. I think i did this, few days ago I tried to Refresh Music Library, halfway I stop it, I Exit it halfway by using the ("Alt Tab" function of 5800 - hold the middle button longer which a menu will come out) . After that I can no longer play songs through the music player. Strange thing is, if it is corrupted, how come I can play the songs from File manager? I mean I used file manager to accessed the song, and it can be played.

Have u tried doing a scandisk on the memory card using your computer?

1. Connect your 5800 to you PC in Mass Storage Mode
2. On your PC you will need to have allowed to "Show" hidden files, do this from Explorer/Tools/ Folder Options/ View and select "Show hidden files and Folder"
3. Open your SD memory card/Removable Disk in My Computer on PC
4. Go to E:\ Private there you will see 3 folders 101f8857, 101ffca9 and 10281e17 .
5. Go to Private\101f8857\Cache\E there you will see .dat files. Delete all the .dat file BUT NOT the E Folder. Shown above right
6. Now go to Private\101ffca9 there you will see another .dat file, Delete the dat file NOT the folder.

7. Finally go to Private\10281e17 There you should see 4 files 2 are Mp3 files other are Podcast files. Delete mpxv2_2.db & mpxv2_2.db-journal for Mp3 files list and Delete pcv6_1.db & pcv6_1.db-journal for Podcast files list. Shown above right
8. Close all windows and disconnect your Phone. Go to Music Library and it should automatically start a refresh.

really??..i knew there was some touch calibration issue but other than that...never heard any...
guess its really a good idea to wait before buying.

depends. if u wait too long u be left out because the flame its not there anymore

problems was like earpiece problem, battery loose problem, light leakage problems
