can i just put in FLV or MP4 videos from youtube straight away in 5800 without convert? lazy la.. i did download lots of FLV/MP4 from youtube..

guys, how to format/reset the phone?

It depends you wanna do soft or hard reset.

Soft Reset - Press *#7370# on the dialer,you'll need your lock code for this by default it is 12345, unless changed.

Hard Reset - Just press and hold GREEN call button + RED end button + CAMERA button and switch on the phone from off state and wait until the nokia logo comes out.

after updated garmin to ver 5.00.60, my phone cannot turn on. stuck at nokia white screen.
phone can start without memory card.
anyone facing the same?

Yes...All the installation file can be put at a single folder. Better if you create a new folder

how about format your memory card using card reader and put it back into ur phone, and try boot it up...

Hi guys, I decided to go for this as the price is very affordable. I notice there is a time sync problem, every 3-5days the internal clock will slow down a min or so, by the end of the week I will be 5-10min younger. I've googled and found out this is a known problem. So far I couldn't find any solution to this. I'm already using the latest firmware.
This is indeed a MAJOR setback to me as I rely heavily on the phone for time accuracy. Yesterday I was a minute late to work because the phone went out of sync a minute slower.

after format phone n memory card, problem solved.

tat happen frequently in firmware V40 especially when there app crashed before you restart it...
just pull out the mem card and restart... after restart just plug back the mem card.... it will reinitialize it again 4u...
then remove those crashed apps and restart it normally again...

are u still using v40?
after updating to v50, this problem seems to be solved for me....

my clock didn't show any slow down wor... it always stay same time with my pc....
btw don blame the fone if u 1 minute late lar.... if 1 hrs late... then u can shout at ur phone lor....

Look guys, it doesn't matter if I were to wake up a little earlier or what. That's not the problem here. The point is that the time is not in synch. And having a time lag of average 10min per week, is significant. Go google.

Snapped some shots with my tubey but still the quality is not up to what i expected.

make sure the time update is not set automatic. The clock is digital so it wont slow down except if something wrong with setting

i am using v50 firmware..try to add vodafone home screen theme and dejavu effect..both cant..as vodafone file corrupted after signed, and for dejavu effect, i cant seems to activate the c2z patch, everytime i tried to activate, it restarted my phone..can anyone help regarding this problem?
