not only that, i can guarantee you that video playback capability is among the best, not even samsung 2 i8000(can only play it's demo HD helicopter file while any mp4 you put in will not be smooth) or any winmo phone can beat this phone, smoothest of all the rest......even though the 5800 processor is slower.

Hi all....

This is regarding Ovi Map 3.04 installer, after i hard reset the phone, ovi map will revert back to 3.03 and my phone memory will be at 72MB but after i download and install ovi maps 3.04, my phone memory drop to 58MB, is there any way to dump all the ovi map files into memory card?

For its price tag its a really nice phone only problem must convert the video. =.=

guys, recently there is a new update available through wifi, in software update, the ovi map is 9mb, how do i set the installation path to memory card? after install in C drive my phone are too laggy so i have to remove it from my C drive. ( after installation left 32mb)
*
there's no way to install into memory card at the moment, if you install the ovi maps v3.04 new update it will install 2 programs, ovi maps and nokia maps which takes up to 15mb of your c drive space, i had to hard reset and stick with v3.03 which is still good enough.....and save 15mb of c drive space....smile.gif

Best as in how best? Is it laggy or ram eater?
*
I still like my screen clean, orange tsunami is not laggy and it only uses around 2mb of ram.

the thing is if i send to NCC then i will have no phone to use. that is the only issue im contemplating to send it over..haha

heard of an app called "touch restart" ? when i use that app to restart it will show the lines. if i flash with official firmware then i cant try. coz the official firmware is not hacked hence i can't install the "touch restart" app...

anybody know if i send my phone (installed with custom firmware in order to show the issue) to NCC , will they reject my warranty claim?
*
Well, i have installed on my phone with official firmware, who say you can't install, just need to sign the software. No white line problem.

ok, so i have made up my mind to get the 5800 navi. sadly, i`m not ordering from etradepj due to some circumstances. thus, i struck a deal with one of the kiosk near my place. a deal of rm830, + screen protector. now heres the case, i`ve noted down several things to check before payment, like checking the life time, IMEI, firmware, light leakage, dead pixels, sirim stickers, avaxx/zitron sticker, check the speakers, and call to test the phone. besides the ones i`ve mentioned, what else should i check, or what did i miss? anyone care to give me some help?

o btw, when i check the firmware, what version should i be looking at?
*
did you get nokia car holder?

firmware should be v50

I used Nokia high efficiency charger only...usually charge 3~5 hours to calibrate my battery.

What model is it?

I'm using AC-8, how good or bad is this charger?
